Build Description
"A Warchief deserves better.", I'd often say to myself, in front of bewildered strangers, before I politely but sternly asked them, to stay out of my personal conversations. Just rude. My next PC would be named the Warchief, as his older brother the Frozen King was getting older. He was a beautiful i5 3750k with a crazy GTX 970 and 16GB of fantastic Crucial DDR3. He ran WoW and was my squishy for many a raid. But alas, and alack he was showing his age and the time had come, where my finances allowed me to splurge into what would become my first custom loop uber PC of Death and Chest Hair. I wanted to finally be able to hit those Ultra Settings and laugh wildly into oncoming geese as it stayed above 60fps, way above 60fps. So came the phrase I would repeat to myself when I would inevitably try to talk myself out of getting the very best and settling for mid-tier again. "a Warchief deserves better." Lok-tar Ogar my brothers and sisters. Lok. Tar. Ogar.
Favorite Feature
The custom loop. Good lord knows it's always been a dream but I was always hesitant to do it. You see and hear all these horror stories about full builds being sunk by leaky clear coolant or completely destroyed by tsunamis of pastel colors. OH THE HORROR!!!! THE CREAMY PASTEL HORROR!!!....ahem. Well anywho, after reading and reading and watching, Paul from Paul's Hardware, Jay from Jayz 2 Centz and Kyle from BitWit and those damned sexy GGF videos, I decided to give it a shot. It was SO much damned fun to build it. Bending the PETG tubes, cutting them to fit perfectly, cutting my fingers on the sharp edges, forgetting to put the fittings before I installed the tubes, overheating the tubing and watching it drip down my near my pantless legs, crying when it all overwhelmed me, you know, man stuff. And it's so clean looking and so damned sexy. God I love you Warchief....so damned much. Loop is a mixture of Barrow Fittings, Bykski CPU plate and EKWB Rads Fans and Distro Plate. Swheeeet.
