AMD Red
by Vikingofthewest Posted on: 9/15/2020Build Description
Built the computer for the purpose of gaming. The games that i play are mostly FPS such as borderlands, Call of duty, Destiny, etc. In some cases i play different type of genres to get a feel of where my build is performance wise. It started out with a ASUS b350 prime-plus motherboard, evga 1050ti, ryzen 5 1500x, 8gb 2133Mhz ram micron ballistix, 450w evga powersupply, and a 1TB harddrive. It was a basic budget build to barely get 60fps 1080p. Over the years, since i've owned in 2017, I've upgraded significantly! My rig is now consisting of a MSI B450 gaming plus max with a Ryzen 5 3600X, 16GB PNY Anarchy 3200 MHz RAM, XFX RX 5600XT, 650W Powerspec Powersupply, 1TB NVMe inland performance ssd boot drive, 2 x 1TB Western Digital 7200 RPM HDDs. Future Upgrades are planned; The new NVidia 3070 or 3080 are considered, New case for the rig: Lian Li LAN COOL II, Noctua Fans for better airflow, AIO water block instead of aircooled for better temperature management during workloads. One of the things i could've done completely different was get a case that has better cable management. Another thing was to stick with NVIDIA instead of AMD for Graphics. The Theme i try to revolve the build around is red and black for an aggressive, yet sleek look.
Favorite Feature
The theme is my favorite, it revolves around red and black.
