How to install Skype on a Windows RT Tablet

Description: Skype is a great program to use to video chat or call your friends and family. Here is our guide to install this app on your Windows RT tablet.

  1. From the Windows RT Start Screen, tap on Store.

  2. Skype is located under the Social category. Tap on the Skype tile.

  3. Select Install to begin the installation of Skype.

  4. Once the installation is finished, you can find Skype's tile located on the far right of your Start Screen. Tap the Skype tile to open the program.

  5. Select Allow to let Skype access your webcam and microphone. Choose whether you want Skype to work in the background.

  6. You are now free to use Skype.
