Description: Often a website or program will tell you that you need to download something. Sometimes you will find a game or application that you want to download onto your computer. But how do you do it? If you are using Internet Explorer 9 (IE9), start by navigating to the webpage that has the program you want to download. Most likely if you want to download something you are already at the website where you would download it. In that case follow these instructions:

1. Click on the link for the download.
2. There will be a field that pops up and asks if you want to run, save, or cancel.
In most cases, simply clicking Run will download the installer, load the desired program onto the computer, and remove the installer (since it's not necessary once the program is installed). If this is not the case for the program you wish to load, then click Save and it will save the program in the Downloads folder.
3. To find the Downloads folder, either click on the Tools button at the top of the screen and select View Downloads:
Or click the Start button and type the word Download in the search field. The Downloads folder should be one of the top choices there. Open that folder and it will show everything that has been downloaded to the computer.
4. In the Downloads folder, double click on the desired program. This will start the installer which will load the program onto the computer.
