How to display or hide your Name in the Status Bar on Mountain Lion OS X
Description: This guide shows you how to display or hide your name from the status bar at the top left of your screen.
- Click on the Apple logo at the top left of your screen and select System Preferences.
- Choose Users & Groups.
- Click on Login Options and proceed to click on the Lock icon at the bottom left of the screen.
- This will unlock the options. Put a checkmark next to Show fast user switching menu if you wish to display your name and uncheck if you wish to hide your name.
