How to end an Unresponsive Program using Task Manager in Windows 8

Description: This article will show you how to close a program that is not responding in Windows 8 by using the Task Manager.

  1. Right click on the taskbar at the bottom of the Desktop Interface and select Task Manager from the menu.

  2. When Task manager opens find the non-responsive program

  3. Right click the program and select End Task from the menu.
