How to configure Wireless Function on a Tenda W368R or W268R Router

Description: If there are no wireless devices in the network, it can be more secure to disable the wireless function of the router. If a wireless device is added down the line turning back on the wireless may be needed.

  1. Click Start, type Internet Explorer and press Enter.
    Browser in Windows Start Menu.
  2. In the address bar type 192.168.0.1 (The default IP address for Tenda Routers) and press Enter.

  3. Click Advanced Settings.

  4. Click Wireless Settings.

  5. To Disable wireless uncheck the Wireless Function checkbox then click OK.

  6. To Enable Wireless check the Wireless Function checkbox.
