INFO: What is OLE
OLE is a feature of Microsoft Office allows content that is created in one program to be used in another program. For example a Word file or an Excel worksheet with OLE they can be inserted into a PowerPoint presentation. There are two types of OLE linked object and embedded object. A link object will update when the inserted document is changed. An embedded document will not change when the word or excel file is changed. Below shows what an OLE object would look like when an excel worksheet is linked or embedded into a PowerPoint presentation.
