Intel® Turbo Boost 2.0

Just as Intel has released its next generation Core i-series processors, it also has improved its Turbo Boost technology with version 2.0. Automatically activated to increase processor performance to its highest state, Turbo Boost 2.0 enables the processor frequency to dynamically increase, based on demand, until maximum frequency is reached depending on the number of active cores. In addition, Turbo Boost 2.0 uses several algorithms working together to power, current, and temperature to ensure energy efficiency. For short periods of time, Turbo Boost 2.0 can even enable the processor to run at a higher power level than its rated upper power limit.

Smart Cache
With Intel Smart Cache you benefit from increased data access because the cache is shared between the cores from a single access point and optimized by workload demand. That means your system is making maximum use of its resources, enhancing multi-threading, and reducing storage redundancy.

Intel® HD Graphics 3000

Gamers will love Intel's new built-in HD Graphics integrating high-performance graphics and media processing right on the processor. Created to provide discrete 3D graphics performance without busting your budget or draining power or battery life like an add-in card can, HD Graphics 3000 brings you the ultimate gaming experience on Intel-based platforms with titles optimized for Intel HD Graphics.

You benefit from accelerated graphics processing, higher performance, improved energy efficiency, faster 3D rendering including enhanced visuals and even better responsiveness.

Delivering up to three times the performance of previous generation Intel HD Graphics, Intel's latest technology is built with an eye on the future of gaming so you'll enjoy stunning and immersive visual experiences — like you're really there amidst all of the action — for the foreseeable future.

Intel® vPro™ Technology
A great way to save money and maintain control of your network, vPro technology enables remote network manageability including configuration, diagnosis, isolation, and repair of network computers , even if the PC is turned off or the operating system is out of commission.

vPro technology is built right into supporting Intel processors including programmable filters to help guard against viruses, malware, and other malicious threats to security, operations, and network infrastructure.

Intel Trusted Execution Technology
Trusted Execution Technology, or TXT, is just one of the ways Intel is working to keep your system more safe. This technology, when combined with an Intel TXT enabled operating system, uses hardware enhancements to protect your data and your privacy by defending against software-based attacks.

Intel AES-NI
Advance Encryption Standard New Instructions AES-NI, is an encryption standard used by the U.S. government since 2001 and now is commonly used in software to protect network traffic, personal data, and corporate IT infrastructure. Intel processors use AES in addition to a set of six new instructions to enable hardware to do some of the work of AES, thereby accelerating its execution by three to 10 times compared with relying solely on software.

Intel Virtualization Technology
Consolidates multiple environments into a single server or PC. It provides greater user flexibility that can help reduce costs, improve security, and increase resiliency regarding contingency planning.

Intel Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O
This VT-d technology takes VT-x capability a step further by providing support for I/O device virtualization helping to improve device performance. IT managers can benefit from improved system security and reliability, reduced downtime, and better use of data center resources.

Intel Stable Image Platform Program
Also called SIPP, this technology, according to Intel, "aligns and stabilizes key Intel platform components enabling a predictable transition from one technology generation to the next." By refraining from changes to key platform components and drivers for a minimum of 15 months, Intel says it can enhance software stability, reduce the need for driver changes and new hardware recognitions between product transitions, ultimately helping owners to reduce costs.
