Ratings Explained
| Micro Center Online believes in informed choices. With the ever-increasing variety of games and movies available online, knowing WHAT you're buying is every bit as important as knowing HOW MUCH. Toward that end, Micro Center Online displays ratings for both PC and console system games and movies whenever that information is available. These ratings have been developed by independent organizations, and are meant primarily as a guideline for parents. |

| Games - For additional information, please visit the Entertainment Software Rating Board website The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ratings are designed to provide information about video and computer game content, so you can make informed purchase decisions. ESRB ratings suggest age appropriateness for the game. On Micro Center Online, a game's rating is prominently displayed both on our search results page and individual product page. The rating designation is listed in bold on the search results page, and a large rating symbol is displayed on the individual product page. Micro Center Online does not sell any games rated AO-Adults Only.

Movies - The Rating Board does not rate movies on their quality or lack of quality, but rather on the following criteria: theme, violence, language, nudity, sensuality, drug abuse, and other elements. In making their evaluation, the members of the Ratings Board do not look at snippets of film in isolation but consider the film in its entirety. No one is forced to submit a film to the Board for rating, but the vast majority of producers/distributors do in fact submit their films for ratings. On Micro Center Online, a movie's rating is prominently displayed both on our search results page and individual product page. The rating designation is listed in bold on the search results page, and a large rating symbol is displayed on the individual product page when available.
