Some of the games the games I play are Call of Duty and Forza which the Gigabyte RX 5500 XT handled perfectly during casual gaming at 1080p. For school, I have many programs running which is why the extra ram was very helpful. Some things I plan on doing in the future are switching graphics cards when the Radeon graphic cards come out or the new 3000 series from NVIDIA come out and adding a new B550 motherboard later down the line.$683.86 -

The gtx 970 was a tank of a card but it was time to move on. I built this computer for gaming and and general tasks and the 2060 super, Ryzen 7 combo works real nice together. I'm not a content creator because I'm old and boring haha but if I was ever forced into doing it I feel very confident this could handle it well.$1,135.92 -

I was aiming to do something that would be good for gaming, for light video editing (no 4k or something like that), CAD applications, and that it would be under a reasonable price. Originally I didn't have a CPU cooler (only the included AMD wraith stealth) and a used 8Gb RX580. I was able to upgrade the CPU cooler recently as well as the GPU to an RX6700xt thanks to a friend that was able to snatch one from one of the AMD drops. The main upgrades I would like to do in the future would be the CPU, the CPU cooler, the PSU and maaaaybe the case just because I would like to have the 5950x and I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit a cooler big enough for it inside my case, but so far this PC does everything I need it to do.$1,264.37 -

It would be best for 1080p but I use a 1440p monitor but it still does really well with it. I kind of wish i would have got a 2070 super but the 2060 S works just fine. So far I've been able to run every single game I play on the highest settings. On cod mw I usually get an average of 80 fps which is fine because I used to be a 60 fps ps4 player. I also play GTA V, CSGO which stays on my 144 fps limiter the whole time, scrap mechanic, and beamng drive. On the easier games to run like beamng and scrap mechanic I usually stay right around 144 fps. I overclocked my gpu by about 5% I sometimes do 10% which games that can handle it. I plan on upgrading my graphics card and possibly my CPU in a few years. I wish they would have made it so you could use more than one graphics card so I wouldn't have to worry about selling my old graphics card and I could use the old graphics card plus the new one to make it super powerful. I am pretty happy with my first time build and it should be good a few years some crazy titles come out.$1,277.91 -

This is the first machine I have built in over 15 years. My last build was a dual AMD Athlon, and everything since then until now has been off-the-shelf stuff, so this is a big upgrade for me. Lightwave is a CPU renderer, not GPU, so the video card was not a major concern for me, but CPU cores and memory was.$1,298.92 -

I just started getting into creating content on my Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and twitch page with a computer I can do all that. Originally built this so my previous rig could go to my girlfriend since the old build I did for her finally ceased to work. Looking into possibly streaming, but I just wanted to be able to do 1440p gaming at high to ultra settings and stick with air cooling. Entertaining the idea of upgrading the GPU at some point but for the time being a 2060 Super will more than suffice, especially after trying out two 5700 XTs that gave me absolutely nothing but issues and headaches. May also look into getting a different PSU when the shortages end.$1,404.91 -

I wanted to try PC gaming since all I would hear from people was that it was a way better experience. Thus after watching multiple youtubers such as Jayztwocents and TechSource I was inspired to build my first ever PC. It has evolved now since I'm hooked with building so now I find any excuse to get my hands on my pc. Here are some pictures of the updated state of my entire set up since I have tried hard to not just have a good looking pc but also a good looking setup. I used by two favorite colors for lighting purple and red. I love star wars and one of my favorites was the red sith troopers from the last installment. The rest of the game room has some starwars stuff such as the white boba fett helmet, the lightsaber, and the R2D2 popcorn maker! Thus the theme for the pc/setup build. I'm currently rocking a ryzen 7 3800x and Powercolor Red dragon 5600xt. My hopes are to upgrade the gpu and keyboard next. If you have any keyboard recommendations let me know!$1,409.90 -

I'm a prepress artist, so I need the real estate of a 34" monitor (3440x1440 resolution). Definitely a bonus when it comes to epic immersive gaming, which consists of mostly FPS and RPGs (Skyrim, Witcher, and the like). Also like simulation now and then, such as Kerbal Space Program, some racing and sci-fi/flight sims. Definitely MUST upgrade my video card, most likely to a 2000-series NVIDIA RTX card, but not ruling out high end AMD Radeon cards either. Some day.$1,419.86 -

Prebuilt options near specs I required were $500-$1000 more than budget allowed. I’m fairly tech savvy so decided to give custom pc building a go. After a solid month of research and Microcenter’s pc builder I pulled the trigger. The X570 motherboard has plenty of room for expansion and upgrades. Combined with AMD chip allows utilization of gen 4 M.2. Pcie slots allow for future graphics card upgrades. 850w power supply leaves plenty of headroom for expansion and upgrades. In order to stay in budget I sacrificed slightly on graphics card. Won’t effect functionality until switching to 2020 software upgrade later in 2021. Also saved on ram and case. Pretty pleased with case airflow. Need to swap fans to push air thru radiator but case is a pain and don’t want to remove cooler from cpu again. Rewired entire build after a couple weeks. Plenty of room and openings to secure groups based on type or location of wire origin. Ram’s ok. Will upgrade to 32g cards eventually and move to lower latency. When said and done I have a solid workhorse that will carry me thru several future upgrades and remain software capable for several years. Took one nerve racking night and an afternoon to assemble. The education of hands on assembly and initial setup was worth the cost to play. Didn’t fry anything!$2,559.90 -

Walking through Micro Center one day to get a new fan for my good old Raidmax Smilodon case and made the mistake of walking past the cases, saw a core P3 black on the shelf and had to build one for myself, and so it began, which color which was a back and forth decision for some time. Had to bail on building it few times due to other circumstances and just kept researching and getting parts over I would say 2 to 3 years, some accessories are past over from last build though. Built it for gaming and just general use, do a little go-pro video editing from time to time. Really do not have any upgrade plans for the tower at this time but we all know how fast that can change. Definitely would like to in time upgrade old been through it all desk that started as a U desk and due to space keeps getting smaller and also some better cable management for the desk. Custom loop would also be a possible upgrade but do not like the idea of constantly changing the coolant and I like simple (LOL) so to be determined, that being said next will more then likely be VR. Types of games really I am all over the place, it is really whichever I got hooked on for the moment. Forth build I have technically done but always had a sidekick that honestly knows much more and this one is the first I was solo on other then texting questions and thoughts to said sidekick <(leader of what to get and do)(LOL), also is where the Klipsch 5.1 came from (great friend).$5,228.69 -
