I built this pc to play esports titles like Valorant and Fortnite on low setttings and it has served me well. I an planning on getting a used gtx 1060 as I am using integrated graphics right now. I'm still working on the cable management lol. This build costed me around $300. My specs were - i3 10105 ($90 because it was on sale Micro center) - MSI H510m pro MOBO ($80 Microcenter) - UpHere 3x fans ($15 Amazon) - Ares Game 500w PSU 80+ bronze ($30 Amazon) - Aerocool cyclone (Amazon $50) - 2x8gb 3200mhz corsair ram ($60 microcenter) - Free 240gb ssd that I got from microcenter$309.97 -

Before this, I was using a MacBook Air, so anything seemed like an upgrade compared to that. In the end, I was not able to get a GPU because everything was out of stock.$390.94 -

After watching PC builds non stop while I had COVID, I think my first ever build turned out alright. My previous computer was a 7 year old Erazer x315, and after quite a bit of time it was finally burning out. This PC will be used primarily for working from home doing digital marketing and graphic design, with some light video editing thrown in. I know I'm going to catch some flak for some of my part choices. I had a strict budget that I needed to stick to so here's the explanation for the parts that I think will cause the most controversy: Intel i5 10400 - Found this for $125 and with the high prices for AMD, I couldn't justify the extra 100 for the 3% performance boost with the 3600. Gigabyte B460 - The crazy high prices of the Z490 boards meant they weren't in the budget. This also limited my intel choices since the newer cards require the newer boards. GeForce 1060 - This was one of the only components I was able to salvage from my old machine, and thank goodness with graphics prices being what they are right now.$396.95 -

I build this pc for my littler brother who just wanted to get back into gaming since his razer laptop bit the dust recently. Luckily, one of my friends is upgrading their pc and they were looking to sell some of their old parts. These parts are a nice upgrade from his 2017 razor laptop. He didn't want a case, more like outright refusing to buy, so i respected his wishes and built it. Dust would most likely be an issue, however, he's cleans his entire gaming setup twice a week so I guess it won't be as much of an issue. He's using this to play games like Phasmophobia, Overwatch, and more recently Lethal Company at 4k. What surprised me is that even at 4k the 3070 is still very capable, and for those less demanding games like Overwatch he was able to fully saturate his monitor at 4k 160hz (at low settings but that's how he was playing at 1080p anyways). In terms of noise, the pc is in a high noise floor environment anyways so it is completely inaudible (I can only imagine how loud the pc is in a more normal noise floor environment).$410.00 -

To improve gaming performance, and as a media server, I decided to try my hand at my first pc build. Mainly built to play Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed, I'm going to see what else i can get this machine to do. Future upgrades include a SSD for my main drive, a beefier CPU cooler, and a fully modular PSU for better cable management. Lighting isn't really at the top of my list, but maybe I'll change out the fans for some kind of ambient light.$538.95 -

It sits under my tv, where I use it to play games that are best suited to controllers, and also watch movies and stream content on it as well. Don't need a Roku or Fire Stick when you have a whole PC hooked up to your TV. Couch co-op games are a lot of fun as well on this setup.$556.93 -

This is a PC build for my friend, who wanted to game and avoid spending too much money. The objective was to keep it under $700 while still having decent gaming performance, and I think we achieved that. A nicer GPU would've been great, but an RX 6600 is a significant jump in price that would make us go over the budget, so we didn't go for it. However, this PC has great upgrade potential, and once he saves up enough money, he could swap the CPU for an i5 or i7, and swap to a better GPU as well.$560.92 -

He likes his Switch though. I like the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini design but it’s a little too much for my budget so I got the DIYPC case instead. I’m saving and waiting for a good deal on either RX 6700XT or 6800 non XT, then I can use the 6650XT, which is used in this build, to build another computer for my son.$616.96
