I don't need to overclock, so no fancy custom loop water cooling. Less maintenance, more gaming time. Acer predator x34 curved monitor with plenty of real estate, so no dual monitor. With RTX4080, this build will run all games currently out at 4k/60FPS without a sweat.$3,958.92 -

There were multiple reasons why I went forward with building this when I did – one of them being for remote working purposes as I am a Graphic Designer full-time for a company in New York City. I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t have streaming and playing video games on the list of reasons why also! Part of me wishes I went with the EVGA RTX 2080 TI XC Ultra GPU rather than my 2080 Super but I’m not complaining. I know I’ll eventually upgrade to a dual SLI at one point or another but with that, I’ll probably need a bigger computer case and a higher wattage power supply. Also going to get another M.2 SSD for my motherboard since two are compatible. I stream a variety of games Part-Time on Facebook and love interacting with new gamers in the chat!$3,231.85 -

I originally got into computers and electronics as a kid and was always finding ways to play pc games whether it be at the library or on my moms laptop. I eventually got a mini steam machine for Christmas when I was younger and always wanted to build my own. As I got older I saved up the money bought some parts and asked micro center to build it for me because I was afraid of messing it up. Later down the line I said screw it kept buying upgrades and messing with it myself. I've learned so much from it and have built 5 PC's for family/friends. I would have loved to go to school for computers but could never find the right program to suit me. No matter what this PC was built off of a dream of maybe one day being a streamer, making content on Youtube or developing something huge. I have switched from console to pc for the past 4 years and love it. I play console here and there only for exclusives and next gen sports titles. I have streamed here and there and played favorite games with friends my twitch is JAO3M. I love to play single player games like Resident Evil, Batman Arkham, etc. Also multiplayer games like COD, Rainbow, Fortnite, MK, etc. This has been an awesome experience for me and I hope to experience more in the future. Future upgrades coming are i9-13900k CPU, MSI - MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI Motherboard, CORSAIR - VENGEANCE 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 C36 RAM, and ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4070 Ti OC Edition Gaming Graphics Card just waiting on a bracket cooler. I use it primarily as my daily driver for email, web browsing and websites. I also play games on occasion on it. My current games are MechWarrior Online, Planetside 2, Among Us, Antigraviator, Pacer (formerly Formula Fusion), Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2. I love playing Watch Dogs because it is my favorite franchise. I buy most of my games on sale on Steam. I really love how this build turned out. Special thanks to Micro Center associates and Micro Center Build Service for the purchasing and assembly. I have the technical knowledge. However, they really saved me time and frustration from building it myself. #MicroCenterMadness$2,226.90 -

I had already planned to build this PC when the 3000 series was announced, albeit using a 3070 rather than the ti. My old build used a 2600x and a 1660ti, which was a very good price to performance pairing, but I recently got myself my first ultrawide, a 3440x1440 34" Viotek GN34BC, for an amazing deal from eBay. A pretty good upgrade over my old 24" Sceptre display. Unfortunately, my 1660ti couldn't drive it that well so I've been slowly buying parts for this build and signing up for as many GPU stock alerts as I could. I finally got an email from EVGA saying that a 3070ti was in stock, it wasn't the card I wanted (3070 XC3 Gaming) but it was in stock for MSRP. I jumped on it and it arrived only a few days later. This PC absolutely crushes any game I throw at it, easily hitting the 100hz refresh rate of my ultrawide. I also do a bit of streaming and the 5600x is a great bang for the buck streaming CPU. NVENC is amazing, with no frame drops while encoding 1080p60 5Kb/s streams. Can also push my Quest 2's full res at 120fps without breaking a sweat.$2,034.39 -

However, this is now turned into my daily PC (still use my MacBook Pro tho) and I'm trying to get better at FPS with keyboard and mouse....Its definitely going to take some time haha I decided to opt out on the NZXT Liquid Cool and save $250...I'm debating if liquid cooling is really necessary as my PC is constantly running around 50*. I am also thinking about increasing the RAM another 32 GB, but that's a little unnecessary$1,767.89 -

The culmination of a couple years of researching, budgeting and selling stuff. I finally was able to fully upgrade the PC that i bought second hand a while back. I bought most of the parts from microcenter and went there every other week just to understand more and more about building a computer. The PC people were super helpful and helped me understand what i really needed for my uses. The rest of the parts were from GameStop because i had credit from a mistake they made 300$ purchase lol. In terms of my uses for it, I use it to stream, game and to do graphic design. I do a lot of photoshop and love to make photshop animations so having 32Gbs of ram is such a huge difference compared to 16Gbs which use to make my computer crash when i made a photshop file with more than 100 frames. In terms of games i play Apex, Destiny 2, Genshin Impact, Valorant, Fortnite and lots of other narrative graphically intense games such as AC valhalla or Horizon Zero Dawn. There is not much i can say about streaming because I just started doing it and i dont feel like ive gotten to a point where im taking it to the limits, but it does exactly what its supposed to do and doesnt impact my gameplay at all. I am also able to use Cloud stream flawlessly Xbox series X in case i want to use my Apex account with all my cosmetics on Xbox when i stream. Smartkinggg on twitch btw. All and all i am really happy with the build and proud of myself for putting it together all on my own with very few hickups. Theres nothing in hindsight that i might have done different other than maybe be a bit more patient and buy everything at once. Also i dont have good places to take a picture of the build from a far so i thought i would focus on the internals and different stages of me building it. Purple is my favorite color in case you couldnt tell lol.$1,736.66 -
