Combination of a workstation/gaming rig, with the secondary PC for some additional gaming for my youngest daughter, streaming, etc. Still need to get a GPU for that 2nd system, however. First PC builld/upgrade in about 12 years. Pulled out all the stops, burned an incredible hole in my wallet in the process. Still have to fine-tune the RGB (and get the appropriate cables for the Lian Li GPU strimer to work correctly). Getting there, however. Top monitors help manage a separate media server.$8,690.70 -

It went through many changes and still evolving over time. If anyone wants to put 360 red on the top, make sure that the width of the red is less than 125mm. Otherwise, it may not fit because will hit a chin on grommet holes.$8,567.74 -

I've always wanted to, and I feel like I'm at the tier of hardware where I'm not going to want to upgrade anytime soon. Yes I know AM5/4000 series are coming out soon, but unless I can get a lot for my GPU, its not going anywhere. I do plan on getting a Gen 4 SSD very soon also.$7,831.48 -

I've been building computers since college, and my setup completely exploded during quarantine throughout the pandemic. I expanded to four monitors (one 4k and three 1440p), surround sound, Ryzen, a 3080ti, a home built IKEA desk, and an NZXT H510 Flow. The rig is for everything: gaming, graphic design/Photoshop, home theater, work-from-home station, and web browsing. My most recent additions are the LG 4k monitor, the EVGA 3080 ti, and the H510 Flow.$6,005.84 -

Walking through Micro Center one day to get a new fan for my good old Raidmax Smilodon case and made the mistake of walking past the cases, saw a core P3 black on the shelf and had to build one for myself, and so it began, which color which was a back and forth decision for some time. Had to bail on building it few times due to other circumstances and just kept researching and getting parts over I would say 2 to 3 years, some accessories are past over from last build though. Built it for gaming and just general use, do a little go-pro video editing from time to time. Really do not have any upgrade plans for the tower at this time but we all know how fast that can change. Definitely would like to in time upgrade old been through it all desk that started as a U desk and due to space keeps getting smaller and also some better cable management for the desk. Custom loop would also be a possible upgrade but do not like the idea of constantly changing the coolant and I like simple (LOL) so to be determined, that being said next will more then likely be VR. Types of games really I am all over the place, it is really whichever I got hooked on for the moment. Forth build I have technically done but always had a sidekick that honestly knows much more and this one is the first I was solo on other then texting questions and thoughts to said sidekick <(leader of what to get and do)(LOL), also is where the Klipsch 5.1 came from (great friend).$5,228.69 -

Also, a shocking display of poor financial decisions, but darn if it isn't a beauty. Very portable thanks to the Lian Li TU150's folding handle! Nice glass side to see the the goods inside. Note that one of the pictures doesn't have a glass side (it's aluminum); I originally bought the Lian Li TU150 without the glass panel, then decided I wanted RGB, so I bought the glass panel version. Included the aluminum panel picture to show a different angle/perspective. Originally I didn't plan on RGB because I wanted to be a cool, smug redditor with an overinflated sense of pride for not hopping on the RGB train. Then I realized life is short be happy and screw Reddit, I'm Going RGB Baby. I've included my monitor and peripherals too because I need a page where I can see where all the money I didn't have went to.$5,046.94 -

Most recent build a few years back utilized a 7700k paired with a 1080 TI and so I wanted to try an AMD CPU. Really fun building this one and I’m really pleased with the performance. I primarily wanted to have a build focused on gaming (Call of Duty, Borderlands 3, Battlefield, and other upcoming games) but also will need to support virtual machines and possibly video rendering. Also wanted room to overlock in the future. No problems with temps while gaming, pretty much upper 60’s c to 70’s c. *Samsung 960 Pro m.2 taken from my other build to use as a boot drive for OS (OS boot times are very fast). Used the Lian Li SL 120 fans for the case and Kraken Z73 (the daisy chaining is pretty cool). I do want to note that the case fans RGB cables are plugged into the fan controller that the 3x fan pack comes with, which is then plugged into the internal USB header (fan cables are then connected to fan ports on motherboard). The AIO is connected to CPU OPT and the radiator fans are connected to CPU Fan. Although the motherboard will fit in the standard Lian Li Dynamic case, I wanted more space (especially with the thicker PSU cables of the EVGA P2 1000!) so I opted for the XL. Highly recommended with the eATX board. Also happened to walk into Microcenter which had the RTX 3080 TI in stock, so I was glad to pick that up :).$4,807.94 -

I Bit the bullet and bought a prebuilt on a whim. At the time the RTX 3070 it came with was almost worth what I paid for the whole system. I've always wanted to build a PC, especially a watercooled one, so I went all out for my first build! I mainly built it for gaming and VR, but I also want to get into streaming or recording a bit. Currently, my main 5 games are GTA V, Dead By Daylight, Fall Guys, Beat Saber, and Phasmophobia (it's even better in VR).There won't be a need to upgrade most of my parts for at least 5 years, but it is expected to last me 10 years with proper maintenance and partial upgrades around 5 years. I'm sorry Bitwit, I still haven't replaced the PCIe/Motherboard cables with custom ones!! Total cost of everything ended up being close to $6000$4,610.90 -

This build has kinda taken on a life of its own and I am nowhere near done with it. At first I was going to get an AIO and then decided to go the custom loop route, I will be adding another radiator and liquid cooled GPU when the new Nvidia cards launch. I will also be working on some mods for the case as well for the first time, cutting a acrylic panel and using it for pass through fittings to run water lines behind the case and for a cleaner look as well.$4,605.44
