For general usage, some gaming. I wish I had more games to play but most modern games are either absolute trash that isn't worth playing or indies that are worth playing but don't require much in the terms of power. The 3900XT I got on sale after the 5000 series came out, works well, cooled by a Noctua NH D15. Should I have waited to get a 5950X? Maybe, but I don't need that much. 32GB of ram, surprisngly I regularly use around 24GB of it so I'm glad I went over the 16GB I usually default to. The motherboard is alright, it works. The 5700XT has to be the centerpiece, I replaced the original cooler with a Raijintek Morpheus II and two Noctua fans. Never goes below 55c even during full load and is always silent. A much better experience compared to when the fan bearings were worn to the point of buzzing from casual mining for a few years. Despite the drama surrounding crypto this 5700XT has heated my room during the winter and put food onto the table for the past two years. Can't complain about that. The PSU I'm glad I went a little overkill initially. When I got this I had a Ryzen 5 1400 and an RX560, something that could probably be powered by a 450W unit. However now it's still got plenty of extra for further upgrades. The case is a Corsair 275Q. It's not very quiet and difficult to work in. I would have rather bought a quality test bench with this money. I need lots of hard drive space.$1,860.89 -

I mainly play Valorant, Halo MCC, Forza, and Assassin's Creed. It initially had a Ryzen 3 APU until I've upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X coupe months ago. I plan on upgrading my GPU. I current have a Gtx 1660 Ti but there is some coil whine when the %utilization goes above 80%, so I pretty much have to limit myself graphical settings to the medium preset for most games. I hope that I can purchasing any RTX card (preferably the RTX 3060 since I only have a 650 Watt PSU) whenever they are in stock.$1,141.92 -

I actually built this gaming rig back in 2012 as my first gaming PC; however the case was released in 2008. I bought an intel core i5 3570k with an asus P8V-LX Z-77 motherboard. I had 8GB (4x2) of corsair ddr3 1600 and a radeon hd 6850. I got a laptop later down the road which replaced the rig. The rig was left in the basement for years to come. Years later (2020), I searched the basement and found the old rig covered in cob web and dust. This was a great project to begin working on during quarantine. It took a while to remove all of the old parts and customize the case to my liking. I had to use a dremel to saw off a piece of the drive bay area, so that I can fit a 11+ inch GPU. I mainly use this as a everthing to do and game computer. I love to game on league of legends, Grand Theft Auto 5, Dying Light, other story games: A Plague Tale Innocence, Far Cry, Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Witcher 3 and more. The goal was to hit 120+ FPS on high/ultra @ 1080p and this build proved more!$1,488.89
