I like the Fractal North case because you can just look at it and be pleased after a very expensive purchase decision. I wanted the inside to be blacked out since you can't really see the inside of your case all the time, and the only RGB I really want is the Geforce RTX logo from my graphics card. Decided to be conservative on the specs I go with, albeit the 7800 X3D bundle is too good to pass up. I wanted to save the rest of the money for a very nice (and expensive) QD-OLED monitor, preferably, something like the MSI MPG 321URX, which is sadly still not in stock. Other than that, Noctua fans keep my PC quiet without any annoying frequencies, which is useful since I use open-back headphones. 4 TB main drive should last for a while, and cover all my storage needs.$1,807.35 -

Built this AMD 8700G PC for coding and running programs that I need for my mad science lab, but looks like it will be my wife's PC instead. She will use it for general PC activities including some casual 1080p gaming (Secret World Legends, Entropia, and others that I don't know the names of). A few years from now, if her old Nvidia/Intel based gaming PC breaks down then I may overclock this one and/or add a video card, or maybe even drop in a new CPU. Am using the heat sink that came with the 8700G CPU, and during a bit of gaming the temp never got above 32 degrees C so I won't be upgrading to water cooling. It has very low power use and it is whisper quiet.$1,335.90 -

I built this PC for gaming, schoolwork, etc. I had a great experience with AMD the last time I built my PC, so this time I decided to go with them again. They have a great selection of affordable, powerful GPUs. In the low-end to mid-range markets, their GPU always outperforms NVIDIA GPU cards at the lower price point. It's been working great so far. I have not encountered any games this PC couldn't run. This setup is absolutely perfect for 1440p gaming. The only thing I would not suggest in this build is the 1500-watt PSU. It's unnecessary. I got it during a sale and I didn't know what I was doing. I built this as a secondary PC for my girlfriend to use when I am using my main rig inside the office. I opted for as little RGB as possible since I didn't want it to be too much of a focal point in the living room where it's set up. I’m happy with the way it came out except for some of the wiring due to the TUF PSU having very malleable cabling. Not a bad thing I’m just inexperienced. Also, I wanted an AIO with an LCD screen but the NZXT and Ryujin still sit at a high price. I despise the large pump on the rug aio, but love the pump head despite not having a screen. I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

Mostly new parts but bought CPU and case with fans second hand and a few things on deals or with coupons savings money. Putting it together was very easy after watching videos and reading manuals. I've been wanting to build a new PC for quite some time now, and seeing all the Fractal North builds really pushed me to build one of my own. I set a budget of $1600 for this build and the build was about that much after taxes are included. I went for the white case because most of my furniture is white or wood so it fits in perfectly. I built this PC mostly for home office use since I already have a gaming PC. I wanted this to be quiet and sleek, but also provide as much performance as possible while staying under $1500.
