I had this case for a while and wanted to fill it with high end hardware that also had great value. In hindsight, I could have done a bit better. The PCIE extender caused crashes when running at 4.0 speeds so I had to bump it down because of that. Since I can't overclock a 5600X3D and it was running at PCIE Gen 3.0, I should have went with a A520 board instead of a B550 in order to save money.$1,097.96 -

These are the games that are played the most frequently: FM24 LoL NBA2k24 NFL24 Undisputed ARMA Squad Other games being: Mafia Remastered FC24 Avatar (the game received on the video card) RDR2 Cyberpunk, in these games I did not exceed 10 hours each, but I want to mention that I did not have any problems with the PC. a personal problem would be the software of the video card (after 20 years it is the first AMD video card), Adrenaline looks very bad to me and I receive errors almost daily, but that is more my problem from what I have seen.$1,688.92 -

I built this computer to use as my main desktop computer for web browsing, programming, and occasional gaming. I wanted it to be smaller, but still easy to assemble, so I opted for the popular NR200P case. In retrospect, I think I should have gotten a motherboard with more m.2 slots as managing the sata power/data cables isn't worth the saved money imo.$777.93 -

I've wanted to build a gaming PC since last August, and now I've done it. It's much better than I first planned. The primary reason for this PC is for gaming, so deciding which GPU to get is important. It's the first part I brought. I ended up with the RX 7800 XT because it's enough for the type of game I play and it was on sale. Building this PC was surprisingly easy with the help of YouTube video guides. Overall, I am really happy with the result.$1,330.93 -

My computer build is a multi-purpose system and also a love letter to the amazing retro cases from Caselabs. Caselabs went bankrupt in 2018 due to the increase in import tariffs. So, to this day, finding any Caselabs product is rare and treated as collectible. My computer build features a Caselabs S3 with a black interior and white exterior. It is water-cooled using EKWB fittings and waterblocks. The coolant is a Mayhems pastel coolant that changes colors from yellow to green depending on the light. I use my computer for school, but I also built it to play 4k games without breaking a sweat. Some of the best games I've played using this computer are Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, SMITE, and Elden Ring. Some improvements I would make would be to make the custom cables shorter, just so I can reach the drain valve a little easier.$2,336.93 -

The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. I'm thrilled to share my very first gaming PC setup with you all. After years of living in the Mac world, I've finally made the leap into PC gaming, and let me tell you, it's been an incredible journey! Why I Built It: Switching from Mac to PC was a big decision for me, but I wanted to explore the world of gaming in a whole new way. I built this PC because I wanted something powerful enough to run all the latest games smoothly while still fitting within my budget. It's amazing how customizable and versatile PC gaming can be, and I couldn't wait to dive in. Purpose: This PC may be my first, but it's already exceeded my expectations. It's more than enough for me to enjoy gaming to the fullest, whether I'm exploring the vastness of space in "Elite Dangerous" or battling it out in matches of "Overwatch." Games I Play: As someone new to PC gaming, I'm still exploring all the amazing titles out there, but I've already found a couple of favorites. "Elite Dangerous" is perfect for satisfying my craving for space exploration and adventure, while "Overwatch" scratches that competitive itch with its intense multiplayer action. I'm constantly discovering new games to play and loving every minute of it. Future Upgrades and Reflections: While this PC may be perfect for me right now, I'm excited to see where my gaming journey takes me in the future. As I become more experienced with PC gaming, I might consider upgrading certain components to further enhance my gaming experience. But for now, I'm just enjoying every moment of gaming on my new setup and embracing this exciting new chapter in my gaming journey.$874.94 -

I was overdue for a graphics card upgrade (had previously been using an nvidia gtx 1060 6gb card). Actually, make that overdue for an everything upgrade. I originally decided to build a high-performance gaming PC for playing Minecraft, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, and Rainbow Six Siege with my friends. My previous computer was barely able to run R6 at a stable 1080p60 so it was definitely time for an upgrade. The centerpiece of this build is the Ryzen 7 5700X Processor. I stumbled upon an incredible deal for this CPU online, a lucky find considering its robust performance and typically high demand. For the CPU, I chose the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE Cooler for its efficiency and the Asus B550M-A Motherboard for its reliability and features. The cooler itself had a very high amount of reviews and given its price, it has been performing fantastically. The memory, G.SKill's Ripjaws, also has not been giving me any issues at all 32GB is large enough to give me the headroom to run virtually any program I need. Storage was an easy choice, I went with the 970 Evo Plus for its insanely fast data transfer rates and reliability. I decided to go with the 970 over 980 for cost reasons alone, the performance was pretty comparable for my standards either way. The most difficult decision was the graphics card, and I ended up with a ASUS RTX 4070 and so far I have no complaints, and I don't plan to overclock for the time being. For the case I went with the Lian Li LANCOOL 205M, and I selected it for its mesh front and focus on airflow. This build was a long journey of finding the right parts at the right price, particularly the CPU, which was a lucky find that definitely boosts the value and performance of the entire computer's setup.$1,149.83 -

I had it for about 4 years, and did the best I could to upgrade it. After years of suffering through ungodly slow daily use, I finally became old enough to get a job. I worked all summer long and saved enough money that I could buy the computer and only spend half of the money I had saved. I decided that I would go all out, in the hopes that this build would last me a long time. I went with, at the time, all the latest and greatest parts that I could buy, without spending so much that I am approaching the point of diminishing returns. And so the Space Heater was born, it keeps me warm during winters and makes me sweat during the summer. Gaming aside, the quality of life of being able to restart your computer in under a minute, not have to wait for 45 minutes to render a single frame in blender, and to just play any game I want without having to think about whether or not I can run it has been absolutely life changing.$1,730.94 -

This was my first DIY build, and I went for a relatively middle of the road spec that's fairly well rounded and not optimized for any particular thing. CPU, RAM, and mobo were from a Micro Center bundle, while the other components were sourced wherever there were deals to be had. The only thing that is missing is a GPU, although the iGPU inside the 7700X has been sufficient in the meantime. The CPU undervolts easily, which allows it to draw only 65W compared to 144W previously and never getting hotter than 70C while only losing 10% performance. Meanwhile the iGPU overclocks pretty well, and was easily stable with a 500Mhz boost. The RAM ran on EXPO settings without any issues. I had originally planned for a 7900XTX and specced an 850W PSU, but my current plan now is to go with a lower end 7800XT or 4070 which has made the 850W a little overkill. In addition to a GPU, cooling will be upgraded with three more case fans, although for the current heat load the two fans are more than enough. The hard drive cage was removed to increase airflow for the expected 7900XTX, so the build uses SSDs only. Even with the change in plans, I'm not going to put the cage back in because it would involve unplugging and replugging the PSU, which is a bit of a pain to do. The room tends to be pretty dusty, and I have added a secondary filter to the front intake along with the built in filter from the case. One downside with this build is that the mobo's PCIe slot is one down, so it utilizes the second slot. However, the case only has room for four slots total, and therefore it limits the GPU to sub triple slot widths only. Coupled with the relatively short spacing available for length (306mm with front fan, 313mm with slim fan, 331mm without), it makes finding a suitably fitting GPU somewhat difficult with how big they have gotten. The front panel cable is also just long enough, but it's under a bit of tension so another inch would have helped greatly.$762.99 -

Made this PC mainly to do some light gaming as well as be able to handle light work tastks I may need to do while at home. Made it with some older parts but still handles everthing I throw at it today. I also didn't want it to be too big so I went with micro ATX.$703.93 -
