I had an older desktop that ran an i5 and the GTX1060 with a standard monitor. With this build, I wanted to upgrade more on the internal parts as well as my monitor to give myself a great computer that would run everything I needed. However, I did not upgrade the CPU to a high-end processor or the video card as I built it around a budget as well as what would satisfy my needs. However, my upgrade itch did cause me to expand from one regular monitor to three 27” MSI curved gaming monitors. In addition, since it was a gaming machine, I wanted to add some flair with RGB, so I did incorporate that into the build. Currently, I am using it to play World of Warcraft, Skyrim, PUBG and Star Citizen (Beta). So far, this machine has run everything I have thrown at it and has met every expectation I wanted.$3,678.98 -

This is my general purpose computer, for gaming it is mainly FPS and sports games. Primarily Madden, COD for those styles in addition to Civ VI, Rome II and other games in that style. In addition its used for my school work and overall day to day computing needs. I do need to add some RGB strips to the bottom of the case to illuminate the after market PSU shroud I got from ColdZero. I also put in CableMod cables to match the coloring of the build. As an alumni of Ohio State University I did make the Ram into a crude block O with the RGB, may not keep it that way but was fun to do.$3,042.92 -

My son, Chuy, was an avid PS4 fortnite player until I proved him wrong that PC's are way better at gaming. We made a bet that if I built a "Gaming PC Rig" it would beat his PS4 loading times and have a higher resolution (1440p of course). Sure enough he's addicted to his new PC while the PS4 is now collecting dust. This was our first computer build together and could not find a better excuse than to drive to our closest Micro Center (2 hours away) to buy part by part. We have put a lot of work into it and cannot wait to upgrade to a 3080. PS5 my a**.$2,981.79 -

I built this PC mainly for gaming and general purpose uses to replace my Haswell system that died around 2019. Unfortunately, I was not knowledgeable in computer hardware back in the day and in hindsight I might have gone with some higher end specs in various pieces of hardware that I ended up replacing in the last two years or so.$2,304.90 -

Long time follower of BitWit, Jayztwocents and LTT, watching all of their content finally convinced me to get off my wallet and get into gaming the right way. Little did I know that GPUs were impossible to find, so I had everything shipped, built it and looked at a hollow, unusable system for 3 weeks while I searched. I ended up driving 11 hours (round trip) to get my hands on an RTX 3060. I made a complete TUF build and was making zero compromises so I had to wait longer than I expected. I ended up acquiring a 90 degree 24 pin adapter to keep the inside clean, as well as a flexible USB 3.0 Cable. I will be installing a custom plate to hide the SSD panels and installing a Raspberry Pi screen with system information displayed. All in all, I am pleased with how it turned out. Chair is an XRocker Strike RGB (Canada Exclusive) I feel like I planted myself firmly in the position of updated, yet entry level. Next mod is UniFans !$2,249.89 -
