I've always wanted to, and I feel like I'm at the tier of hardware where I'm not going to want to upgrade anytime soon. Yes I know AM5/4000 series are coming out soon, but unless I can get a lot for my GPU, its not going anywhere. I do plan on getting a Gen 4 SSD very soon also.$7,831.48 -

I've been building computers since college, and my setup completely exploded during quarantine throughout the pandemic. I expanded to four monitors (one 4k and three 1440p), surround sound, Ryzen, a 3080ti, a home built IKEA desk, and an NZXT H510 Flow. The rig is for everything: gaming, graphic design/Photoshop, home theater, work-from-home station, and web browsing. My most recent additions are the LG 4k monitor, the EVGA 3080 ti, and the H510 Flow.$6,005.84 -

Most recent build a few years back utilized a 7700k paired with a 1080 TI and so I wanted to try an AMD CPU. Really fun building this one and I’m really pleased with the performance. I primarily wanted to have a build focused on gaming (Call of Duty, Borderlands 3, Battlefield, and other upcoming games) but also will need to support virtual machines and possibly video rendering. Also wanted room to overlock in the future. No problems with temps while gaming, pretty much upper 60’s c to 70’s c. *Samsung 960 Pro m.2 taken from my other build to use as a boot drive for OS (OS boot times are very fast). Used the Lian Li SL 120 fans for the case and Kraken Z73 (the daisy chaining is pretty cool). I do want to note that the case fans RGB cables are plugged into the fan controller that the 3x fan pack comes with, which is then plugged into the internal USB header (fan cables are then connected to fan ports on motherboard). The AIO is connected to CPU OPT and the radiator fans are connected to CPU Fan. Although the motherboard will fit in the standard Lian Li Dynamic case, I wanted more space (especially with the thicker PSU cables of the EVGA P2 1000!) so I opted for the XL. Highly recommended with the eATX board. Also happened to walk into Microcenter which had the RTX 3080 TI in stock, so I was glad to pick that up :).$4,807.94 -

It defiantly was a challenge to get my hands on a 3080 Ti witch replaced my RX 6700 XT. Ended up paying $1600, witch I think was a decent deal. I'm Just waiting on some corsair rgb extension cables to get my Corsair LS100 kit working. Other then that it is finally complete!$4,509.96 -

With AMD's announcement of Zen 4 with incredibly fast single core, insane IPC increases, and clockspeeds through the roof, I knew I had to have it. My wife and I drove 10 hours to our closest Micro Center (Denver) so we could be there for the Zen 4 launch, and it was so worth it! . I built this PC for gaming, software development, video editing, HiFi audio playback, overclocking, and benchmarking. I mostly play heavily modded Skyrim, No Man's Sky, Forza Horizon 5, and Minecraft, though I also plan on getting back into Fallout 4 in the near future. I'm a software engineer, but I also enjoy writing code in my free time. I also build and sell PCs locally as a hobby/side hustle, which helps to fund my personal systems. Here's the linktree for my PC business: https://linktr.ee/km.pcs . I'll wait until both Nvidia and AMD have released their next-gen GPUs before deciding whether I should upgrade. I want to see reviews with real numbers, especially after Nvidia's laughable 40-series announcement which didn't show raw rasterization (non-DLSS) numbers. AMD's next gen of graphics also looks very promising, so I'll want to see how they'll compare against Nvidia's 40-series before making a decision.$3,869.96 -

From online school during the pandemic to streaming and playing games with friends. Right now I am very happy with my build but maybe in the future ill upgrade to a 3090, but only the founders addition as it matches the ascetic of the build. I know the build is simple and basic but its what makes me happy. As someone who started with a 960m gaming laptop to then building pcs where I did not care at all what the inside looked like, I think I have come along way.$3,754.88 -

I'm currently playing games like OSRS (Lol, 3080ti for that), Civ6, No Mans Sky, and Cyberpunk 2077. I upgraded all my parts in my main build to move all of my old parts into a new Plex server. Looking forward to getting the new plex server put together. It's going to be going into a rack mount case. I play all my games at 3440x1440 on a 21:9 Alienware 34 inch g-sync 120hz ultrawide monitor. Paired with an additional 2 Dell 2716DG 2560x1440 monitors with 144hz. Mainly use these monitors for productivity and for when I'm working I have all 3 monitors going with something useful. As I work as a network administrator I find use for all the screen real estate. I've been thinking about even expanding to 4 monitors.$3,748.95 -
