Mainly plays in competitive games, like Fortnite and CS GO2, plus doing home production. Mainly in software engineering. Thanks to Micro Center, I can build it with affordable parts. Planning for future upgrades: 1. Add additional SSD, want to add another affordable 1TB SSD from MC brand Inland 2. Upgrade CPU for Ryzen 5 5600 3. Upgrade GPU for RX 7800 XT or Nvidia RX 4060 ti.$475.27 -

I use it for school and gaming. I play Fortnite at around 200 fps on medium settings and Valorant at around 300-500 fps on medium-high settings. As an avid PC builder of the budget variety, I wanted to finally build a system that met my absolute requirements whilst providing a cost effective upgrade path. After endless research, focusing on the games I would be playing and scouring endless eBay listings, I finally came up with the Simplicity PC. For years I have always built something that I considered to be the best that I had built, but my part choices never seemed to be very balanced. To keep the costs down, I either skimped out on the CPU, GPU and/or my choice of case. This time I realized I would have to let my guard down if I wanted to build something that I would be truly happy with. It's not always about how much money you can save, but knowing exactly what you need and precisely focusing your budget around that. With PC parts coming down in price (Due to bitcoin mining crash), I thought it would be time to seize the opportunity. I managed to find some fantastic deals on eBay, some not as cheap as I would like but much better than retail prices. I feel the simple things in life are the best and I wanted to build a system that screamed price to performance and efficiency. Gaming and day to day tasks are a breeze, I have even streamed on this system and it performs like a champ. I am very happy with the results!$565.43 -

All of a sudden, I needed a PC for school and my mom helped take me to me Micro Center to get the parts, along with covering half of the cost (the rest I paid with my birthday money). A friend of mine who knows how to build PCs helped me with it, and it turned out just they way I wanted it. I plan on making stuff using programs like Adobe Premiere Pro or Blender, but I also might as well use the PC to play games because of how well it runs.$579.92 -

First of all, this is the first pc I've attempted to build in maybe 12-15 years. Technology is very different now. So I'm basically calling myself a beginner. This case was perfect for my personal build, and I thought it'd look amazing on my desk. I mainly play fortnite and roblox, so I didn't spend too much money on specs. On the other hand, I tried to make it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible since I'd be staring at it longingly for most of the day. I even spray painted the GPU so it'd fit the white case. I'd consider this a mid-range PC in terms of performance, but I think it looks amazing visually. I plan on upgrading the GPU and CPU once I'm free from crippling debt LOL.$656.96 -

This was a budget build I did for a friend, keeping cost in mind, but also a clean look and decent performance. The combination of Ryzen 5600 with RX 6600 is amazing, giving me over 200fps on fortnite (performance mode) on a 1080p, for the budget, this is an amazing build, still looking cool and modern. Sadly, all prices went up in microcenter a month later and I'm not able to replicate this build, the cheapest I could find was a Ryzen 5500 with GTX 1660 Super and a B450 board, paying over $50 on tob of this build, too sad.$664.91 -

The main goal of this build was to move my clunky ATX mid tower into a smaller form factor. After searching around, I found that Microcenter had unbeatable deals on open box items. I like old-school tech, tinkering, and trying to make things work that don't make sense. So, I took an old Compaq Presario 4090US Internet PC case, gutted it, chopped away some of the metal on the back, and squeezed modern parts into it. Well, mostly. The system is a fully-functional modern computer, though for extra fun, I've Hackintoshed it to run macOS Monterey. Even though it's running the latest macOS release (as of this writing), it's still got old-school charms: I've got a working floppy drive and optical drive inside of it. Was even able to use the original power LEDs! The only real trouble was finding where to put the power supply, as the case was designed for a proprietary sized PSU. Right now, I'm just using double-sided mounting tape to stick it to the bottom of the case. Hey, it works! :D For comparison, this computer originally had 128MB RAM, a 30GB hard drive, an 800MHz Celeron, and ran Windows ME.$684.94 -

This was a gaming pc that was built for my family to use both for gaming and everyday use. Almost every part was from microcenter with the exception of the CPU cooler. I play games such as Rocket League on this and my sister uses this for games such as Sims. I may eventually start overclocking this build as the thermals are great at current usage but I have not done any overclocking yet because i am able to get overkill FPS for the old 60Hz monitor I currently have. I don't have any current plans for upgrades and to be honest I don't think I would have changed too much if I could do it again. These parts were very good for my budget and I am very happy with how the build turned out overall.$688.82 -

They have been asking for a gaming PC and I thought building it together from the ground up would be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon together. For now we have no future upgrades in mind other that cable extensions for the it to look cooler and also to allow better cable management. I had been using a Mac Mini for the past few years and was starting to miss having a PC for a number of reasons. It was time for an upgrade. Counter Strike 2 was recently announced which reignited my interest in building a PC. I didn't want to spend a ton of money - the goal was to keep it under $1000. I was pleasantly surprised with the computer I was able to piece together! I somehow managed to spend less than I did back in 2010! This PC will serve as a casual gaming PC as well as a daily driver. In addition to casual gaming, I have a small youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@Franchyze923 I post videos about computers, homelab, programming tutorials and other topics. My 11 year old son has a passion for computers and always asked if he could build his own PC. He went on YouTube and did all the research on AMD/Intel, which Motherboard and graphics card he should get.
