Firsts: - Liquid Cooling - Custom PSU Cables - Custom Paint Job I built this machine to handle everything I could throw at it, all the while streaming without a 2 PC setup. This computer dabbles in a little bit of everything in my daily life. FPS, Creative games like Satisfactory, VR, Multi-camera tabletop gaming setups, 3D print design, etc. I'm pretty happy with everything I've put into this to suit my needs, so upgrade are minimal. - Complete cable management on backside, all the necessary extensions are sitting in a box, just need the motivation to re-wire everything - Troubleshoot LED lighting, it's such a pain to get everything dialed in, and the EKWB Hub is a little ball of constant issues - Upgrade NVME storage to take full advance of read/write speeds$6,934.75 -

For work I do a lot of remote tasks, such as excel and teams, and I will also play games during my free time. Used to stream, however have stopped in recent years to pursue my job. Having the 3 displays is quite useful for having tons of information at a glance, and the little performance statistics display thats mounted besides my webcam is always fun to take a peek at and see how hard my systems working, or what FPS im getting at a glance.$5,041.43 -

I was so fortunate that not only was a 5900X available to me on Zen3 launch day, but a shipment of 3080 FTW3s were also in stock as well. The build pulls double duty for gaming and as an audio recording/production workstation for my various projects. I tend to play FPS like Battlefield and Overwatch, city builders like Cities Skylines, as well as open world RPGs like Fallout, and of course, this was built in preparation for Cyberpunk 2077. On the audio side, I've never had a faster workflow as I do with this machine. It breezes through multi track audio rendering in Reaper with tons of VSTs open. Flipping from one 32GB Superior Drummer 3 preset to another takes ages on my laptop, but this can do it in 7-8 seconds. The only upgrade I'm looking at for the moment is just a nice set of cable extensions to clean up the look some more, and perhaps the Strix Ryujin aio if I want to push my 5900X further.$4,224.75 -

I'm mainly a developer, database guy, and system's engineer, so I need many screens, but capability to do compiling, querying and more. Visual Studio, Azure, SQL, and Teams are strewn across the display most hours. I have always had issues when trying to game with "surround", so I've made my main display a 4K TV (LG CX 48"), which can be the main gaming screen, with 2 Dell's in portrait mode for Teams and Email. I don't game enough, but when I do this thing is terrific. Cooling has been a steady problem. I've used the EKWB RGB Kit, and the pump seems to have a very, very slow leak. Dye is on the connector but no visible drips. Took the pump apart and cannot find the source. I'd like to go with hard tubing, but the pump does not sit well in the Cosmos II case (I'm bracketed to the HD cages and that's flimsy). I'm looking though to move to the Ryzen 4 platform for future growth.$3,775.85 -

The reason for the build was specifically for video editing and productivity purposes for my job. But I also use it to play games like Call of Duty, Flight Simulator, and any other game I want to throw at it. Built on day 1 of Ryzen 5000 series launch day after using an i7 4790K since 2014. Huge upgrade for me!$3,769.83 -

Oh and of course gaming (: Mostly working in Maya, Nuke, After Effects, Photoshop and UE4. Wanted to go for form and function. As far as games go, I mostly play Valorant, LoL, and some AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077. Mounted a 14" monitor between the radiator and glass panel. This is the same build that I got featured on pcpartspicker for a couple weeks ago. Hope ya'll like it! So far monitoring temps the 5900x gets a bit hotter than what I'm used to, but mine seems like it's on the cooler side. I did replace the Nzxt thermal paste with a Noctua one tho.$3,523.60 -

Finally decided to make myself a high end gaming machine after spending most of my life with mid/low tier machines that would upgraded over time. Figured since I would be building a better machine why not customize it a bit while I am it. Yea I know, 011d but its just a nice looking and functioning case. As for what games I play? Just about everything but these days I have been on a bit of a survival kick. Me and a friend just beat co-op Green Hell. Great little game. As for future plans, really don't think I have much really, although I saw an amazing infinity mirror mod a few weeks ago that I really want to build but other than that maybe an in case display of some kind but I think I its pretty much done for a few years, it does what I want and with the new tech coming in the next few years it's probably better to wait anyway. Who knows, maybe by the time I need a new GPU the world will have gone back to normal and I can just drive up to MC and get me one without having to get up at 4am and camp outside when its 28 (&*(#$@ degrees out. Comments and suggestions welcome.$3,443.86 -

This rig was built with the main goal of being a high end gaming rig, as well as handle CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360), real time slicing of STL files for 3D printing, and any other compute intensive tasks I throw at it. As a mechatronics hobbyist, this is crucial to keeping a project going quickly. As a PC enthusiast as well, this rig is also a hobby, starting life as an air cooled 6700K/ 980 Ti 5 years ago, and evolving over time to a 5900X/ 3080 water-cooled beast.
