Ryzen has enough PCI-E lanes so that I could add a Mellanox 25Gb adapter in a second PCIe x16 slot.

  My old pc kicked the bucket and I needed a new computer asap! I talked to people and asked for prices for building me one... My old pc kicked the bucket and I needed a new computer asap! I talked to people and asked for prices for building me one but they wanted entirely too much money. I've built full arcade systems and installed Raspberry Pi's before, so I figured I would take a chance at building my own pc. I like to game on my pc well as do work, and stream. I started doing plenty of research and asking questions at Micro Center. There was a bald guy (Caucasian) with an ear piecing. I believe his name was Tim Hill. He was so polite and professional!!!! I came to the store on three different occasions and I would run into him and he would help me. He's truly an honorable guy! I wanted a DragonBall theme and started downloading lots of pics and videos and edited them for this build. I also ordered several figurines and picked which ones I liked best to install in the pc. I had to disassemble the figurines from their bases and use a grinder to smooth down everything. It truly turned out to be a work of art!!!!!!!

  Wanted to immortalize my old 3080 in a little shoebox to cope with the lack of future EVGA GPUs. Thought the Lian Li x DAN... Wanted to immortalize my old 3080 in a little shoebox to cope with the lack of future EVGA GPUs. Thought the Lian Li x DAN A3-mATX case would be good. Saw the wood front version. Decided to buy it. Really this is just an upgrade on my PC I built in 2020. The parts in the list that are zeroed out came from that PC. The A3 is a nice looking case, at a great size. Cables are a bit tough to deal with in it. Thought I'd do some clever weaving to make them look "organic" but I'm not sure it really played out like I wanted. I was able to hide all the fan/rgb/secondary cables pretty well but the PSU cables don't really have anyplace to hide. Will probably redo and/or get some cablemod in there. Some of the cable lengths are particularly tough to make look pretty (CPU power cable barely reaches, cooler needs ugly SATA power cable to work). The EVGA CLCx cooler also has wires galore, which didn't help anything. Not mention the 3080 uses THREE 8-pin PCIe and not a 12VHPWR like the newer GPUs... All that said, I'm still happy with this thing overall and still sad about EVGA. Will add more here after more usage.
