Mainly plays in competitive games, like Fortnite and CS GO2, plus doing home production. Mainly in software engineering. Thanks to Micro Center, I can build it with affordable parts. Planning for future upgrades: 1. Add additional SSD, want to add another affordable 1TB SSD from MC brand Inland 2. Upgrade CPU for Ryzen 5 5600 3. Upgrade GPU for RX 7800 XT or Nvidia RX 4060 ti.$475.27 -

Mostly GTAV, Ghost Recon, Fortnite, and Rocket League. I also use it for MATLAB for my school. May dad was the inspiration for this build because he used to do a lot of hardware work and built the pc that we had for many years. I remember going to buy parts with him, and I thought a lot about him when making this build.$494.99 -

I use it for school and gaming. I play Fortnite at around 200 fps on medium settings and Valorant at around 300-500 fps on medium-high settings. I will probably be upgrading the gpu later on and adding some rgb but for now, I love the build. Also the power supply is a 600w not 500w but it isn't on the list.$543.92 -

Budget AMD gaming build (with Ryzen 5, AMD RX 6600, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD), and at around $500 (that has room for upgrading, such a faster CPU, more RAM, more storage faster graphics card). As an avid PC builder of the budget variety, I wanted to finally build a system that met my absolute requirements whilst providing a cost effective upgrade path. After endless research, focusing on the games I would be playing and scouring endless eBay listings, I finally came up with the Simplicity PC. For years I have always built something that I considered to be the best that I had built, but my part choices never seemed to be very balanced. To keep the costs down, I either skimped out on the CPU, GPU and/or my choice of case. This time I realized I would have to let my guard down if I wanted to build something that I would be truly happy with. It's not always about how much money you can save, but knowing exactly what you need and precisely focusing your budget around that. With PC parts coming down in price (Due to bitcoin mining crash), I thought it would be time to seize the opportunity. I managed to find some fantastic deals on eBay, some not as cheap as I would like but much better than retail prices. I feel the simple things in life are the best and I wanted to build a system that screamed price to performance and efficiency. Gaming and day to day tasks are a breeze, I have even streamed on this system and it performs like a champ. I am very happy with the results!$565.43 -

I built this computer in March 2019 to upgrade my old AMD FX-8320E computer. I use it for some light gaming and some hobby development work in .Net and SQL Server. This spring I upgraded the power supply and graphics card for Folding@Home use. In the future I'm considering replacing the 17 year old Antec Super LanBoy case, and eventually getting a new motherboard and processor. I name this computer Prometheus because I tend to rip out its guts and rebuild it every couple of years.$567.92 -

All of a sudden, I needed a PC for school and my mom helped take me to me Micro Center to get the parts, along with covering half of the cost (the rest I paid with my birthday money). A friend of mine who knows how to build PCs helped me with it, and it turned out just they way I wanted it. I plan on making stuff using programs like Adobe Premiere Pro or Blender, but I also might as well use the PC to play games because of how well it runs.$579.92 -

I use it mainly for school work and some occasional gaming (Valorant, Minecraft, the likes). I feel like overall I did a good job, as I did a lot of price hunting and got my GPU eBay, the rest from Microcenter with their insane deals. One thing I would have changed if I knew about this earlier was to get a better motherboard - the B450M is good but I ran into a lot of problems for some reason, maybe it was me? This build cost me around $450 - yes, you may have seen the price above, but it did cost me around $450 because of some coupons I used, the GPU came from eBay, and lots of deals Microcenter had at the time I made this a month back. Whatever the case, overall I loved this project.$635.93 -

First of all, this is the first pc I've attempted to build in maybe 12-15 years. Technology is very different now. So I'm basically calling myself a beginner. I started building this mainly to have a pc that's very budget friendly and one that will be flexible upgradable down the road if I decide I want to do that. This case was perfect for my personal build, and I thought it'd look amazing on my desk. I mainly play fortnite and roblox, so I didn't spend too much money on specs. On the other hand, I tried to make it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible since I'd be staring at it longingly for most of the day. I even spray painted the GPU so it'd fit the white case. I'd consider this a mid-range PC in terms of performance, but I think it looks amazing visually. I plan on upgrading the GPU and CPU once I'm free from crippling debt LOL.$656.96 -
