  huge upgrade from my old r5 1600x and gtx 1060. it served me great for the past 7 years, but it's facing a lot of... huge upgrade from my old r5 1600x and gtx 1060. it served me great for the past 7 years, but it's facing a lot of difficulties in recent games, so it's time to replace it. I don't have a huge budget, only around $1000 dollar. Here is what I got. For the graphics card, I could have gone with 7700xt for more performance, but I really like to get into ray tracing, so I went with rtx 4060 instead. I was able to repurpose my old AIO cooler, so that's a huge saving. and everything runs great and I am loving it.

First attempt at building a PC from the bottom up. Everything went pretty well, however I did have a bit of trouble trying to fit the GPU into the PC case (it was a very slim fit). Despite this, it works great with no issues! I installed Windows 11 Professional on the PC.
