This was my first build and the thing that launched me into the world of PC gaming. Before this, I had been playing games on garbage laptops and Windows XP rigs. I would consider it great if I could even run League at 45 FPS on the lowest settings, and I bounced around from Macbook to Thinkpads. Now, I no longer was locked to 30 FPS League, I could game at 1080p 60fps on Medium settings and I could play whatever game I wanted.$697.98 -

Made this PC mainly to do some light gaming as well as be able to handle light work tastks I may need to do while at home. Made it with some older parts but still handles everthing I throw at it today. I also didn't want it to be too big so I went with micro ATX.$703.93 -

I built this rig with the intention to play mostly FPS games like Apex and do some light 3D modeling on the side. After Covid hit I realized how lucky I was to get an upgrade from my previous laptop as it made online school much easier when running programs like Revit, building the rig also gave me a basic understanding of computers which helped me to take a tech support class. I think if I built this rig in the future I would have saved a bit more and opted for a larger hard drive but I managed to salvage a HDD from a laptop for extra storage even though it isn't the fastest thing in the world. In the near future I would like to upgrade to a monitor with a higher refresh rate.$723.90 -

This is my first pc budget SFF build, and it's mainly used for light gaming and office work. Using a very old graphics card for the time being, so my PSU is a bit overkill for it. The NR200 is a bit bigger than I thought it would be, just a bit smaller than the Q300L. But for the price point at $80, it's a very good entry point to SFF builds for all the features it provides and really good airflow. However after building it, there's a lot of unused/wasted space and I'll probably replace the case to something smaller once more affordable SFF cases become available. Didn't necessarily care about having RGB and matching colored parts, since I'm using the vented panel. I initially used the stock cooler that came with the 3600 (pictured), but that was way too loud so I went with a different cooler paired with an Arctic P12 fan (not pictured).$731.95 -

I originally built this rig purely for gaming but over the years that I've had, I've been doing more with it such as school work and video editing. I edit using Davinci Resolve 17 and I'm able to to play pretty much any game with this rig but in recent triple A titles like Elden Ring it does have a few hiccups.$743.93 -

This is a slightly modified version of Nerd on a Budget's $750 build for 2020 (video for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qnUkuERzW8). Prices may vary a little bit as of making the video, so be flexible if necessary and change out components for alternative, yet comparable components if the price is radically different. The case, power supply, and RAM for this build list is different than what is shown in the video, but will have minimal impact to performance. Finally upgrading from a laptop to a decent gaming PC that I can use for all my work tasks and gaming tasks. I was able to use an atx psu and stock cooler to shave the costs and also repurpose my ram, mobo, and cpu to get the perfect budget build. First DIYPC, general purpose computer for the most part, with some light gaming and coding. As in the title, no graphics card due mainly to the extremely inflated pricing of cards, not availability. Integrated graphics + a lot of fast RAM make it reasonably quick at 1080p. Most demanding thing I play so far is Minecraft w/ Completmentary Shaders. I get about 30fps @ 32 chunk render distance in a jungle(Iris + Sodium, 1.18.1). Also I run Arch BTW(Endeavour OS).$756.98 -
