Yet Another NR200(No Graphics Card)
by ghjkl2 Posted on: 1/6/2022Build Description
First DIYPC, general purpose computer for the most part, with some light gaming and coding. As in the title, no graphics card due mainly to the extremely inflated pricing of cards, not availability. Integrated graphics + a lot of fast RAM make it reasonably quick at 1080p. Most demanding thing I play so far is Minecraft w/ Completmentary Shaders. I get about 30fps @ 32 chunk render distance in a jungle(Iris + Sodium, 1.18.1). Also I run Arch BTW(Endeavour OS).

AMD Ryzen 5 5600G Cezanne 3.9GHz 6-Core AM4 Boxed Processor - Wraith Stealth Cooler Included
Qty: 1
$219.99
21st century processor. Stock cooler wouldn't fit with my motherboard. Popped off the shroud and it fit fine. The shroud no longer has screws underneath the AMD logo.

Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX AMD AM4 Mini-ITX Motherboard
Qty: 1
$167.00
Got it on sale. No problems with Q-Flash updating BIOS/UEFI to support my 5600G. BIOS/UEFI has a lot of features compared to a tablet but looks very gamer-y.

Just the NR200, didn't need the glass panel. Included fans buzz.

Corsair SF600 600 Watt 80 Plus Platinum SFX Fully Modular Power Supply
Qty: 1
$129.99
The SFX standard. Haven't pushed it (no graphics card) but so far the fan hasn't spun up. If these are flexible cables, I never want to see difficult to bend ones.
WD Black SN750 500GB
Qty: 1
$60.00
Guess Microcenter doesn't carry this? It's enough for now. No point in paying for storage I won't use. By the time I need more space PCIe 5 drives will probably be cheap. Unless I start trying to play modern AAA games...
