I built this PC with primarily the dual purpose of gaming and doing design work. It does both of them very well! And then this isn't necessarily any hardware inside the build, but I have active display port and usb cables so I can run the PC in my basement and have my monitors and necessary USB peripherals at my desk in my office 1 floor above. That way I can keep the heat of my PC out of my office, which is great especially in the summer!$1,906.92 -

After spending a couple months in lockdown, I realized my non-gaming laptop with a faulty eGPU wasn't going to last me much longer. I had been interested in PCs for a while and in May 2020 I decided to go for it. I mostly use it for gaming, school work, and some general computer stuff. Turns out the used GTX 970 I got bundled with my eGPU on eBay was the problem so that lasted about two weeks in my build. I found a used RX 470 4G for about $80 in June (just before prices skyrocketed) and unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to pick up a 30-series or RX 6000 GPU, but for now, it gets the job done. I've done a few small upgrades over the last year and a bit including going from the stock Wraith cooler that came with my 3600 to the Noctua U12S, Asiahorse cable extensions, an additional 1TB SSD, 16 to 32GB RAM, and a better PSU. A new GPU is next on my list (just like everyone else), ideally the RX 6800XT Midnight Black. In the future, I want to try my hand in an ITX rebuild in the FormD T1.$1,652.49 -

Now looking back I can't believe it took me this long. I play mostly FPS games like COD, Borderlands and FarCry, I also have put a good amount of hours into Skyrim and the Middle Earth Series. Currently playing through Halo for the first time (always been a Playstation user) I plan on upgrading CPU and Motherboard when AMD moves to AM5 next year.$1,726.93 -

Built exclusively for gaming when the lockdown initially hit and I knew I would be bored. Initially started as unicorn puke RGB but over the last year, I phased out of it and went to minimalistic monochrome type of look. Added a Star Wars Tie Interceptor as a bonus since it suits the theme. This was an entry way to building a PC that I wanted to build for several years. Initially I started streaming for a few months, then things started getting busy so I kind of left it behind. However, I'd absolutely get back into streaming (ProjectZuki - Twitch) Primary games: Destiny 2, The Division 2, Rocket League (if I'm in a good mood), 7 Days to Die, Cyberpunk Most games run solid on highest settings. Except Cyberpunk obviously, and literally no graphics card can run 7D2D without setting itself on fire first. Games run at a stable 75 FPS ultrawide 16:9 2560x1080 by LG Future upgrades: Graphics card. We all secretly have a thing for that precious Strix logo, their RTX 3060 is the largest I can fit in this case. Asus TUF 3070 is a solid choice as well. At this point, anything I can get my hands on is an upgrade but what I have now runs great and I refuse to support scalpers. If anything, I would have gone with a Lian Li 011 Dynamic. I may even switch in the near future. However with the Corsair 220T I enjoy the small just-enough size that is plenty spacious for sufficient airflow, and not too small that hardly anything fits.$1,777.92 -

Had an AMD A10 7700K Black Edition with Asrock fatal1ty fm2a88x+ killer board, 8GB Crucial Ballistix RAM 1600Mhz, MSI R9 270 Twin Frozr 2GB, 128GB Samsung 840 PRO SSD and 1TB WDBlue HDD, EVGA 500W 80 Plus PSU, in a Corsair Carbide Spec01 lol. This is my complete overhaul (2.5 years-ish old now. Newest part is GPU, originally had an Asus RX580 4GB) Built this purposely for casual gaming at 1440p high/ultra, photo editing and minor video work.. Running 2 monitors ACER Nitro VG271U and MSi Optix MAG24C.. (Yeah cringey cause not matching monitors lol) Peripherals are Glorious Model D, Glorious TKL Keyboard with lubed and filmed Gateron Yellow switches, Glorious Extended mouse pad. For Audio I'm currently running FiiO E10K USB DAC/AMP to a Philips Fidelio X2HR open back headphones. Speakers are Logitech z623 system. Mic is a Fifine T669 with boom arm and shock mount. Aiming to upgrade to AIO cooling since I have the space.. Feel free to roast or suggest anything lol$1,992.79 -

I'm a prepress artist, so I need the real estate of a 34" monitor (3440x1440 resolution). Definitely a bonus when it comes to epic immersive gaming, which consists of mostly FPS and RPGs (Skyrim, Witcher, and the like). Also like simulation now and then, such as Kerbal Space Program, some racing and sci-fi/flight sims. Definitely MUST upgrade my video card, most likely to a 2000-series NVIDIA RTX card, but not ruling out high end AMD Radeon cards either. Some day.$1,419.86 -

The Noctua NH-D15 is damn near silent, and the triple-fan 2070 Super runs most games very quietly. RGB wasn't much of a concern (it sits below my desk) but the built-in lights on the motherboard and Maingear case logo are nice! Mostly am using it for Call of Duty Warzone right now (runs it with ray-tracing on at 144 fps, and never goes above 60 C, if that) Most of the parts came from Micro Center, but I got some really good discounts for the motherboard and GPU on Amazon Warehouse deals and Newegg's eBay page$1,344.93 -

This was my first time building a gaming PC after being on console only forever. I mostly play Battlefield 4, Deep Rock Galactic, Overwtach, and cRPGs (like Divinity and Tyranny). I feel like this is a great base too for when I need to upgrade any parts. I chose a 3700X because I use this for data analysis for work as well.$1,876.92
