I originally built this PC when I was in college for online homework and some light gaming. It started as an i7-6700k, GTX1070, and 16GB of RAM. Over the years I have upgraded through various sales towards a more gaming oriented system that is “future proof”$3,185.87 -

This is the first PC I've built in almost 20 years and was a big upgrade from the gaming laptop I was on prior. I built it for 1440p high refresh gaming and have enjoyed smooth gameplay in Metro Exodus, the Witcher 3, Halo Infinite, as well as some less known games like Mechwarrior Online.$2,679.93 -

Didn't build it all at once, but with a part here and there. Its primarily used for gaming and a smidge of game Dev. I've been playing lots of Halo lately, but also play Witcher 3, Valheim, and StarCraft. With part prices as dumb as they are, my next upgrade is probably more storage.$2,529.91 -

I didn't want to sacrifice aesthetic or performance. Not only is this build super good looking it stays frigid cold and is near silent in operation. I bought almost all the parts from Microcenter (availability permitting). I also have the lian li RGB PSU cables but am in the process of moving so I haven't pop them in yet. With a MSI 3080 GPU and AMD 5900X this PC handles most games on ultra at 1440p 144Hz. I play a lot of Valorant, but I have been playing may co-op and multiplayer games such as A Way Out, It Takes Two, Dead by Daylight, and Hell Let Loose.$2,286.93 -

I got fed up with my old MacBook and finally decided to build a PC for myself this year. I started gathering parts in July 2021 and got the system to post the following month. Most of the parts I got on sale through Newegg and Micro Center, and the motherboard was the one part I bought secondhand. I built this system for Battlefield 2042 and 1440p high refresh rate gaming. I also plan to use this to learn how to code/program; I want to get into a coding bootcamp to start a new career in tech. I may also use this for streaming, video editing or music production eventually. For a first time build, I'm pretty happy with how this system turned out. Let me know what you guys think as well as what can be improved to make this system even better. Thanks!$2,183.24 -

I built my PC originally for Destiny 2 and have since upgraded it for better 1440p high refresh rate gaming. Currently, my primary games have been Genshin Impact, Destiny 2, and the New World Closed Beta. As amazing as the Noctua NH-D15S is, I do want to replace it with a 360 AIO in order to truely vertically mount the GPU. Right now, the 3070 is vertically mounted at an angle under the heatsink as it's the only way it'd fit.$2,127.89 -
