Case was great to build in and had no issues with MC or any of their parts. Good prices for the parts imo but the cooler was a bit pricey. Great MB with onboard WiFi for the B550 chipset. RGB was nice to setup and I really liked how the build came out. I could only attach one photo as all my other ones were taken in portrait mode and you can’t attach those here, but the photo I attached gives a good look at how it came out.$972.92 -

I initially planned to upgrade an old HP Compaq for gaming and to use graphic design software. I intend to play Overwatch,... I initially planned to upgrade an old HP Compaq for gaming and to use graphic design software. I intend to play Overwatch, Halo, Kingdom Hearts, Splitgate and more. For graphic art I'm mainly interested in digitizing embroidery files and want to make stickers and pins. After getting some help, I realized it would probably be better to build from scratch. I would have loved to keep my original case since I painted it pink and cut out a Jigglypuff silhouette but the CPU cooler and graphics card were too wide to fit. I do like the sleeker look of the new case but in hindsight I should have waited until I had the parts before customizing the case. I did go back to the store a week after building the PC to get more RAM more for cosmetic reasons than needing an extra 16gb. It took about 5 hours to build because I would rearrange how the things were and connecting the rgb cables was a bit confusing. Cable management wasn't too difficult but involved a lot of reworking how I initially connected everything. Next time I'll work on Cable management as I'm building. In general, I should have done more research before starting the build process because it would not turn on when I had finished. I realized one of the power cables was not fully plugged in after checking the cables for everything else first. In the end, it was a fun project and I inspired my boyfriend to want to build a gaming PC for himself.$2,003.91 -

I'm building this pc because I was going to buy a ps5 since my ps4 is outdated but since I couldn't get a ps5 I decided to go for a pc since It will have more then 1 use other than gaming but now I can't get a gpu so I'm just stuck turning it on every day just to admire the rgb and turning it right back off. I probably should've bought the gpu first since I've been contemplating this build since like January. Other than that I love it. Sure enough he's addicted to his new PC while the PS4 is now collecting dust. This was our first computer build together and could not find a better excuse than to drive to our closest Micro Center (2 hours away) to buy part by part. In the past, I have purchased prebuilt laptops and desktops from well known companies. I wanted to get more "bang for my buck" and decided to build my first computer. I have never built a computer before but I thought it would be fun. I spent so much time watching different YouTube videos and I thought I could do it. My previous computers were not powerful enough to play games such as Valorant or Warzone. I didnt want to spend a ton but I wanted a PC that will be useful for gaming for the next several years with upgrade-ability down the line. It took time picking the parts for the build as I tried to do as much research as I could but once I decided on the parts, I chose Micro Center for the parts as they have absolutely everything. I was excited once I purchased everything but once I bought all the boxes home, I was somewhat worried I would break something and mess up it up royally. But I took my time and went slowly - I mean very slowly. I read each manual and watched more videos. The build took almost an entire day! When I pressed the power button, it worked! I was so excited when I got to the BIOS screen. There were no problems posting and its been running great so far. Im really happy with it and its been running games smoothly!$1,414.91 -
