I finally have saved up enough money and have a stable place to live that I now wanted to finally buy my first desktop to enjoy what I've worked for. I went all out when I went there. I was going to go for the 4070 ti when I went there, but the guy said he had gotten the 4080 super in that morning so I went with that instead. I'm planning on grabbing a 5090 when that comes out to max it out fully. turns out, those sold out really fast so I was able to put in a 4090 Refurbished now as for 01/30/25. Now it's got a ASUS TUF 4090 24GB VRAM and I got 2, ASUS ROG 27in 4k OLED monitors now in place too.$5,260.91 -

Wanting a top of the line PC since pubg was released recently I have been able to build my dream PC with the relatively the best parts money can buy. I can tell you there is no better feeling than being able to run and game at the highest setting with a constant+100 fps . I to plan on swapping to cooler and case fans when I grow out of a full RGB case .$3,674.90 -

I play many open world games like Cyberpunk, Starfield ,Fallout 76, RD2, and Horizon. My 4070ti was struggling giving me the stability and performance that I desired. I decided to focus on a PC with the emphasis on gaming. I decided to go with the 4090 for my GPU and I must say that I am more than impressed with my second build.$4,379.34 -

I don't do much gaming anymore, but my old build was 2015, and I literally could not play some of the more recent games even if I wanted to. The old build was still fine for most day-to-day stuff and I wanted another build that would go the distance. So here we are. My first build was 1998, and PC components have come a long way. I wanted something that could run Cyberpunk at 2k on max settings and still get over 60 FPS. I wanted something that I could hook up a top tier VR headset to without worries. The Lian Li components are super good, but they don't have great software support. Mostly, I would say that they are first rate components with second rate software running them. It often resets, and I can't update because of their file servers (or lack thereof). The Lian Li case is superb. The strimmer lighting looks great and is customizable. The CPU cooler is where the RGB software could be better. Even with the great cable management, the back of that case is STUFFED with cables, Lian Li USB controllers, internal USB hub. The fact that I put a RAID 10 SSD array in there didn't help with space. It seems like no mater what improvements are made with cable management, I'll find a way to fill it with cables! I was going with an ASUS 4080, but it was out of stock when I went to the store, so I settled for the Zotac. It's fine, but the RGB is about 3 years behind the RDG in the rest of the box. Even though it was 1200 bucks, I won't hesitate to return it if the 4080 super comes out in time. I may replace it with a 5000 series in a couple of years. My background is scientific computing, and this PC is about on par with the number of threads and memory that was in $20K servers I was using in 2010. I really like that it's super quiet, even with 6 fans. When its running full blast, its makes half the noise that my 2015 does. I'll probably try DnD next...but then will go back to checking my email! This PC specs out in the top 1% in Passmark. But 1% is a huge number of builds. Maybe next time I go ThreadRipper and Nivida XX90!$3,655.81 -

I wanted a machine that could last me more than 5 years, and I am confident that this is the one. This machine build is mainly to get me more power for video editing and production as well as photography. I am starting to explore the world of Steam tho lol. I tried to get this machine ProArt as much as I could get it. Other than the case from NXZT (which is AMAZING) and the RAM, everything in this box is ASUS. I wanted to theme the box out will gold highlight, but I really like the decision to go with white for the case. Everything else I left black and the box looks clean AF. I did add a ThermalRight contact frame to this socket, and it has changed my life!!! Highly recommended. I may have also splurged a little when it came to the AIO with the Ryujin III, but........... The Delorean from Back to the Future looks FANTASTIC on it so it's a keeper.$3,299.89 -

First build ever using it for gaming and some SolidWorks when I need to work from home. Going to change case to something a little more tasteful and get cablemod stealth wire and extensions and just extra frill to make it look way better. The case is GREAT at keeping the components bathed in cool air, but it's just not the greatest looking case. Thinking about hardline water-cooling for the CPU and GPU that way I can keep the 7900X and 4090 cool and make the build look way cooler (If I do it right that is...) Microcenter makes all other electronics store second grade. Can’t wait till my next build.$3,344.93 -

Snagged a Zotac 4090 off of Amazon for 1699 right before they disappeared from everywhere. 140mm fans look great! (too bad they don't have a 420mm Gallahad). And no... I didn't leave the NVME in that slot. I did test with it in that Gen5 slot vs the other M2 slot with the 4 lanes direct to the CPU (so not making the GPU run in 8x PCIE lanes). There was zero performance difference (actually it gets slightly faster 3dmark scores with the PCIE gen 5 M2 slot occupied (within margin of error though). Also.. not sure where the AsRock Nova Wifi went on their website (it's still there if you search, but not on the list of MBs). It is an awesome board so far, both in performance and looks.$5,825.81 -

I am a gamer, and I focus on graphics and smooth game play, so the games I play take up a lot of room and computing power. With a game library of over 1,000 games and constantly getting more, I have to keep adding and/or replacing parts to my rig. Anything from older Command and Conquer games, Mass Effect, Starcraft; to new hits like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, Destiny 2, Battlefield. With this in mind I am always looking at new gear and reviews (even when not planning an upgrade) so I am able to keep up with new games while making sure I can still play the old favorites. I am looking into the streaming field as well, just not sure how to start getting followers.$8,174.25 -

Pair with a super ultrawide OLED display. The purpose is for pure gaming, no work, so and manage and remove all the windows and motherboard bloatware, and the build is super smooth, quiet, cool, fast, and efficient. The AMD processor has 16 physical cores and 32 logical cores not so much for productivity, but for increased headroom and future proofing for when games begin to inevitably make better use of it in the foreseeable future. Although with 32 logical cores, some good productivity is on the table, but not recommended if using with an OLED monitor for risk of burn in due to static images. This is meant only for gaming with headroom to spare. I will admit the $300 AIO liquid cooling system is slightly indulgent, but I didn't want to risk it with expensive CPU, and there were not a lot of reliable reviews and testimonies for the cheaper coolers at the time, so it would have been a real gamble to go with one of the cheaper ones.$3,589.93 -

Built this PC to upgrade from my old laptop, mostly play competitive FPS games (Overwatch 2, VALORANT) and I will also use it for university work (majoring in computer science). I've done some video editing as well, so I might do that too. No plans for upgrades for now, but I could probably have saved on RAM and SSD and upgraded the GPU. Definitely happy with the 7900XTX though and it fits the theme very well.$2,809.90
