Housed in a Lian Li Dynamic EVO, it features a vertically mounted ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti OC Edition using the official Lian Li vertical GPU bracket. The system is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPU on an ASUS ROG Strix Z890-E Gaming WiFi motherboard, cooled by a ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO. Cooling and airflow were major priorities in this setup. The AIO is outfitted with three Noctua industrialPPC fans for efficient radiator exhaust. System airflow is handled by seven Noctua Redux fans, positioned for optimal intake and static pressure across the chassis. This configuration keeps the system cool and quiet, even under heavy loads and overclocked conditions. Fan curves were manually tuned using ASUS AI Fan Tuning to ensure thermal efficiency without unnecessary noise. The only exception was the RAM, which isn’t white, but honestly, it’s not a big deal and doesn’t take away from the overall look. I’m running a Ryzen 7 9700X paired with an NVIDIA 5070 GPU, and 32GB of Corsair RAM. I was working within a tight budget, so I kept things practical — no flashy extras, just solid performance. It’s been running smoothly, and while I might tweak airflow or swap out RAM in the future for aesthetic reasons, this build has been exactly what I needed$1,623.94 -

The foundation of the build began with a Micro Center bundle featuring the ASUS ROG Strix X870E motherboard paired with the AMD Ryzen 9 9800X3D processor. I also acquired a Lian Li DK-07 Desk PC chassis from the same source to serve as the centerpiece for the setup. For the GPU, I selected the ASUS TUF RTX 5090, currently utilizing an Alphacool water block while we await the official TUF-specific release from Watercool. The memory consists of a 128GB dual-slot kit, cooled with a Barrow block. The CPU is equipped with a Bykski (Granzon GAIS) block, ensuring optimal thermal performance. This build showcases a variety of components from several leading water cooling manufacturers. My goal was to create a truly customized, high-end system without being restricted to a single brand—while, of course, adhering to best practices such as metal compatibility. This is very much a dream build for me. I initially experimented with other water cooling components but found the result unsatisfactory. After a complete overhaul, I arrived at this final configuration, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.$5,574.92 -

I wanted to build a rig for unreal Engine 5 development, and needed to do so for a low-ish price. I got some great deals on... I wanted to build a rig for unreal Engine 5 development, and needed to do so for a low-ish price. I got some great deals on Micro Center and assembled a mid-high-end gaming PC that has plenty of power and potential for upgrades. It was the first PC i've ever built, and though it was expensive, I got incredible performance for the price by building it myself. In UE 5 editor I get 120 FPS at 1440p Ultra with Ray Tracing, and in Age of Empires II Defintive Edition I get over 340 FPS on 1440p Ultra. I got a solid 2 TB WD Black SSD, couldnt find that on the parts listings. Don't mock my trashy cable managment, I know it's bad and will be redoing it very soon. A funny thing is I didn't realize was that my GPU weighs about 4.5 pounds, and I don't want my fancy ROG mobo to sag obviously, so I made a TEMPORARY GPU brace out of some old LEGO bricks that were lying around.$1,644.93 -
