I built this computer to mainly have a home PC, but also wanted something to replace my Xbox. My wife uses it for photo editing, crafting and everyday use. I use it for general use and for gaming with Xbox friends. I do want to start streaming a bit on my Nintendo switch which is why I got a capture card as well. I do plan to hopefully upgrade my graphics card to where my PC can handle 4K gaming at high FPS.$3,363.87 -

I got into PC gaming right as PUBG launched in alpha and I wanted to learn more on getting a better system. I stumbled across Kyle & Jay and instantly got hooked! After graduating in 2020 and getting a job I got to finally save up towards my first build. I am proud to say that in January of this year I finally built my first pc! Version 1.0 had all the same specs except for GPU & Case. I originally had a EVGA 1070ti and a NZXT H510 but later upgraded to a Asus Rog Strix 3070 and H710 case, so this is version 2.0 that I am providing pictures. I am so happy with this setup and I cannot wait to build my next one, thanks Kyle for the inspiration!$3,349.39 -

RGB set to light with some blue accent colors as the character's color pallet isn't just pure white. After I've thought of the idea, I checked out and see if anyone has done it. Lo and behold, two setups I've seen were pretty much insane and that downed my spirit to make this build for awhile, but got back up to make it real regardless. It first started as a budget build, but dumped that plan out and said if this is going to be my first RGB build, may as well go all in. Other than waiting for the custom backplate and GPU bracket support, the build is pretty much complete.$3,319.90 -

Built to replace and upgrade my old pc with a gtx 770 and intel i7 4770k built in 2013. Works great, happy with it performance wise — but the rgb has been frustrating. After hours of troubleshooting, I can’t get rgb fusion to work and recognize anything other than the mobo for whatever reason which is gigabytes rgb software (manufacturer of my mobo). Also figuring out how to get all my fans and rgb headers plugged in was a little confusing and required splitters and an additional adapter I had to purchase for the lian li proprietary rgb connector. So only regret maybe not splurging on a nicer board and/or looking into header placement on the mobo more thoroughly. Also, if doing it over, would consider swapping out the 5800x for the 5600x or another cpu. With my personal pc use, I’m not utilizing the 5800x to the fullest extent and a 5600x would still be more than enough. My original build was going to use the 5600x but micro center had a deal running on the 5800x so I took it for $30 more… didn’t realize how much hotter it runs and therefore louder - not a huge concern but just something to note. For those interested on how I placed/plugged everything in… Removed the 3 fans that came with the lian li case off the front panel. 1 was placed at the back of the case as an exhaust. Other two were placed on the bottom of the case above the power supply as intake fans. I placed my Galahad water cooler on the front panel of the case along with all 3 fans that came with the cooler. All 3 are intake fans. Last two fans I purchased were lian li uni fans. These fans had to be placed at the top of my case in order to take advantage of the interlocking daisy chain feature - thereby reducing the number of fan pwm and fan rgb cords I have to connect by one. These were both exhaust fans.$2,851.85 -

Always wanted to build my own custom PC and when I became aware of a Gundam themed line of PC products I thought, why not now? Not gonna lie, most of these parts were hard to come by at decent prices, besides the fact that most of the themed parts were already being sold at a premium at MSRP. Overall, I truly adore my build. Probably won't be creating a new PC anytime soon in the near future as it was definitely an expensive build, but it was pretty fun in a weird sort of way hunting down the pieces and seeing it come together bit by bit. I'll finally get to play all of the games I held off on in the last few years and will enjoy them on crisp settings!$2,648.93 -

I wanted something to replace my aging laptop now that I am out of school, and as a lifelong console gamer I have always been tempted by playing games on pc. So far I have been mostly playing valorant and halo with friends. I have not had any issues so far, and wow I must say that this is a very noticeable upgrade over the gaming consoles I have become accustomed to in the past. I really enjoyed the build process, and I look forward to upgrading and building new systems in the future. Currently, the only upgrade I am considering is maybe adding a 2tb m2 drive. I would also probably upgrade the 2 front case fans to lian li al140 fans if those ever come out. And finally, I may also consider changing out the cpu/mb/ram for the amd platform later this year.$2,599.85 -

I originally had a rig that I built over 7 years ago and felt it was about time to upgrade, but this time, I wanted something that was a little more eye catching and clean. It use to be mainly for gaming but as time went on and my kids have grown up, I’ve moved onto building them their own rigs and have had less time to enjoy my own, but had to have the best looking one, as I am dada. I managed to find most of the parts for this build during peak of the pandemic, so I feel it is really special to me to have finished it during that time, but I am still on the hunt to find myself a Vision card to complete the look I originally wanted.$2,593.85 -

I recently got back into PC building in 2020 (Last Build was 2012) and a friend told me about these youtubers that have build guides so I checked out Jayz2cents, and quickly found myself subscribing to Bitwit, Pauls Hardware, GamersNexus, Austin Evans, and of course Linus Tech Tips. I was hooked and really appreciate how all of these channels try to vary their content but all exist in the same space in a friendly way. I've built 6 systems for friends and family since then and most recently updated my personal system which is the white and black system in the O11 Mini. This system was upgraded after I camped out at Microcenter in January 2021 and was lucky enough to get an RTX 3070 Strix White Edition. The Lian Li TU150 was the 1.0 version of this computer before the 3070. I had purchased an ASUS Strix RTX 2060 Super but sold it last summer after I got the 3070. So hopefully that makes sense why I needed to upgrade to a case with better Air flow. The ITX build was fun but just was a hot box! This is my 2nd PC build, the first build was kind of a budget build, which suited my needs back then, but eventually started to show its age. I built this PC to be used for Gaming, Streaming, Video Editing, and General Usage. I wanted to kind of future proof this Build atleast for the next few years to come, so I went a little overboard on certain things. Mainly for gaming w/ games like Valorant and League of Legends, which are funnily enough not that demanding and overkill with the current specs. Along with this, I use the computer for schoolwork w/ programs like KiCad, OrCAD, Linux VMs for programming, etc. The PC used to be super RGB vomit a few years back with like 5 Corsair LL series fans but after a while I got sick of all the RGB and removed all of it. I think if I were to do anything different with the build, I would swap out the case with something with more airflow potential and maybe gotten non-RGB ram.$2,337.93 -

General purpose PC and used for gaming mainly GTA V, Phasmophobia, Project Zomboid, and some other RPG games. Went with heavy RGB build, which I feel I would have gone with less RGB had I known how much wiring goes into RGB builds, but I think it turned out alright - maybe next upgrade would be case fans, buying fans with better air flow and less/no RGB. I made this build to get back into 3d animation, which is something I haven't been able to do for a long time due to the lack of decent computer. What spurred on the build was winning the i9-10900K from Intel and LMG for their LTX Gold Sample giveaway. I have been slowly re learning 3d animation with it but also enjoy some gaming, I mainly play Gears 5, but also Minecraft, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I do plan to double the RAM and I wish I would have looked into the cooler a little more, the 240R is a little small for my i9-10900K, the temps are fine when left stock but I would like to overclock it and as soon as I do the temps go through the roof and I thermal throttle almost instantly. I was lucky enough to be able to get a 3070 right before the prices became unbelievably high but if the market were normal at the time I would have liked to get either a 3080 or ideally a 3090 since more VRAM is king with 3d applications, but over all I'm not going to complain since at least I was able to get a decent GPU at a decent price. One other thing I would have also done differently had I have known more before hand was I would have gotten an ASUS motherboard specifically for the RGB software it uses, Gigabytes RGB software is VERY limiting and overall feels like they don't really care to make it great, whereas from what I've seen about the ASUS one there are a lot more and better options. I would like to also get the same fans for everywhere because the colours are different enough between the 2 different types of fans I'm using.$2,298.93 -
