My highschool had a two week course where we could learn and build our own computers, we had a budget of 500$ and the choice to add extra from our own money. This is my first build and I am very happy with how it turned out. Using our budgets, I bought the 400$ bundle at Micro Center that contained, Intel Core i9 12900K, ASUS Prime Z790-V WIFI motherboard, and the G.skill Ripjaw 32 Gb 2 x 16 ram. Additionally, I got a PowerSpec PS 650GSM 650 W power supply, a DeepCool AG400, and a Seagate Laptop Thin 500 GB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive. Using my own money, I bought a Inland X1 black case, two Inland TN320 NVMe M.2 storage SSD's, and a Nvidia RTX 3050. I am very thankful I took this course and I am very content with how my PC turned out, it runs most games I play at high to max graphics (I mostly play RTS such as Men of War or Total War games). The total cost of this build was roughly 800$ USD with me paying around 270$ from my own pocket.$1,122.93 -

On the PC I play fortnite, valorant, call of duty and some other games. I also use my PC for school, and finish assignments online. I also watch a ton of movies and TV shows which look amazing. I want to add some rgb fans in the future so for now it's a no rgb PC.$1,179.92 -

There's been enough tech progression and there were some great sales this year that I was able to put this together for a great price. It's definitely a big upgrade, newer games look a lot prettier than my old rig, the rig itself looks way prettier sitting on my desk too.$1,354.94 -

Built this rig generally for gaming, but its no slouch running a 13700k with a 360mm Aio for Overclocking. 32Gb of DDR5 running 7200 Megatransfers at a CAS Latency of 34 to make 9.444 Nanoseconds which is pretty snappy. 2 TB's of storage, One as a boot drive and for high performance programs, another dedicated to game storage both gen 4. Currently using my old 2080ti until 40series prices drop or 50series launches. Utilizing a 850watt 3.0atx Seasonic PSU that should be more than enough to upgrade to a 4080 or 5080 respectively with more headroom for OC later. All parts installed to a MSI z790 P Pro Wifi which has proven to be a sturdy backbone so far. Everything was placed in a Montech SkyTwo case with LianLi's UNI SL Infinity Fans to give it a beautiful ARGB aesthetic.$1,356.54 -

I switched back from a gaming laptop to a desktop. I previously had a aero 5 xe4. I prefer the upgradeability and future proofing. I mostly game but Ive made a few videos and music and some 3d model editing and want to create more. Our channel is "Co-Op Couple" on YouTube and coopcouple_lxs on tik tok. Games I play are cod, GTA, virtual reality, vrchat, Roblox, Pavlov, valheim, Minecraft, Forza, Bethesda games, dark and darker, ect. My future upgrades could be extra storage and maybe 3 rgb front fans, some keycaps a wrist rest and possibly a small screen for inside the case. I wouldn't have done anything I've done differently I like the build alot. The parts are Case corsair 4000D Z690 MSI motherboard I9 12900k cpu Frozen Notte 240 aio Gigabyte Rx7800xt 32gb ddr5 6000mhz ram 1tb 980 pro m.2 for os and apps 2tb sp a80 for games 1tb 2.5" patriot ssd for extras Thermal take psu Most but not all parts where from micro enter, I got some parts from Amazon to make the build as low cost as possible.$1,447.93 -
