This is a budget pc build that I made due to the amazing 12700k + Asus z690 Combo at Micro Center. Prior to this sale, I had no intention of building a computer any time soon. When I saw this sale, I knew I had to jump at the chance to make a new pc build. I made this build with a strict budget in mind, but I also wanted to ensure that I purchased parts that will last for at least the next 2 years. In a year a two from now, I plan to make a few significant upgrades to this build. I will upgrade the CPU to a 13th gen chip like the 13600k or the 13700k. If the AK620 is not able to sufficiently cool the CPU, I may also need to upgrade to a 240mm or 280mm AIO. I also plan on upgrading my GPU to either a AMD 6800xt or NVIDIA 3080.$1,187.95 -

My old build had run very reliably but it was definitely starting to show its age in some of the tasks I required. I decided to choose high quality components that would hopefully stand the test of time. The types of games I play vary, such as playing visual novels, RPGs/JRPGs, FPS games, sandbox games, puzzle games, and etc. Therefore, I preferred to aim towards building a mid-range gaming pc that can satisfy both the non-intensive and intensive games that I play. This is my first ever pc that I built and overall I am proud of it. I plan to switch the sides in which the CPU fans blow since the right side blocks the ram's rgb, however other than that I am pretty proud with my first build!$1,673.90 -
