This build is designed for high performance, low noise, and clean aesthetics. Housed in a Lian Li Dynamic EVO, it features a vertically mounted ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti OC Edition using the official Lian Li vertical GPU bracket. The system is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPU on an ASUS ROG Strix Z890-E Gaming WiFi motherboard, cooled by a ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO. Cooling and airflow were major priorities in this setup. The AIO is outfitted with three Noctua industrialPPC fans for efficient radiator exhaust. System airflow is handled by seven Noctua Redux fans, positioned for optimal intake and static pressure across the chassis. This configuration keeps the system cool and quiet, even under heavy loads and overclocked conditions. Fan curves were manually tuned using ASUS AI Fan Tuning to ensure thermal efficiency without unnecessary noise. The combination of Noctua’s proven cooling performance and the clean internal layout of the Dynamic EVO results in a build that performs as well as it looks. Storage includes 8TB total capacity with high-speed NVMe drives, and power is supplied by a Corsair RM850e PSU. This overclocked setup exceeds a score of 14,000 in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme, delivering high-end performance for gaming, creative workloads, and benchmarking—anchored by deliberate airflow tuning and Noctua’s industry-leading cooling solutions.$2,880.83 -

I built this PC as a tribute to both high-performance gaming and my passion for Warhammer 40K. At the heart of the system stands Roboute Guilliman, the Primarch of the Ultramarines, fully armored and integrated into the case design with synchronized RGB lighting. This build isn’t just about looks—it runs cool and fast thanks to the NZXT Kraken AIO, powerful airflow, and a clean layout.$2,209.93 -

I loved how this computer looked, sleek and mysterious. I played all types of games on this computer like Gary's mod and counter strike. It sat in my basement for a few years because I upgraded to a souped up Main gear vybe. Just this year my fiance needed a new computer and while cleaning out my basement I found my fx6800 and thought it was a great idea to bring new life to this computer and give my fiance a gaming rig she can work and game on aswell. The easy part was gutting all the old tech out because it was really out dated. The hard part was trying to find new tech that would fit inside the case, because of how compact it was in the inside. Yeah I could have cut alot of the useless stuff in the case, but I wanted to keep it close to original looking as possible. It took me about a two months of doing some home work and finding what will fit and what I can afford. The good part of building a sleeper is no products with RBG, because components with RGB are a little more expensive than ones with out. It saved me som3 money there and having a case this case also saved me money. The reason why I went intel and with the asrock mother board was that microcenter gave me a great deal with this combo and the ram too! I went with a noctua air cooler for my cpu because I couldn't fit a water cooling system. For my gpu I went with a 4070ti msi 12gb, it's a great card! I couldn't find any 5070s or 5080s that fit pretty good in this case at the time. This project came out really good. My fiance loves playing hogwarts legacy and Sims while she's working.$1,853.94 -

I built this rig with a dual purpose in mind: high-performance gaming and efficient content creation. I wanted a system that could handle the latest AAA titles like Elden Ring, and Call of Duty: Warzone, and Black Myth Wukong without any issues. I’m also interested in making more content. Specifically, working with video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and 3D rendering in Blender. So essentially a build that's versatile enough to handle both gaming and demanding creative workflows.$1,894.90 -

I do play Age of Empire 4, CS2, Overwatch2, and some other stories telling games. I built this to replace a 10+ year old gaming PC that was starting to show it's age. I mostly play older games like Unreal Tournament 2004, COD, etc., and wanted something reliable that would run smoothly on my 2K monitors. I also wanted to go RGB for the "coolness" factor (don't judge me) and provide some ambient lighting in the room while playing. In addition to the components listed below, I went with Corsair iCUE LINK QX120 RGB fans and a Corsair iCUE Link RGB LCD AIO because I liked the LCD screen showing system temps or pictures. I also purchased a custom 12VHPR cable with a right angle connection for the GPU and also plugs directly into the PSU (not an extender). The length on it is perfect so there are no sharp bends which is highly recommended with these HPR cables. These extra components added about $550 to the cost, so the total cost for the system was about $2,500.$1,938.94 -

This is a new home machine to replace my venerable but arthritic 3rd Gen i7. The old machine was a Shuttle SZ77r5 with 32 GB of RAM and an i7-3770k with an EVGA NVidia 1650 (the only part that has survived into the new build). The new machine is quite an upgrade, with an i7-14700 and 64 GB of RAM, Two WD black 850x SSDs running NVMe (2TB and 4TB), all housed in a Phanteks Evo Shift XT case, cooled with a Cooler Master 240 Atmos ARGB AIO. The new Case is an even tighter fit than the old Shuttle case, though longer and taller. The case has a nice solid feel though it's not great for travel. I'm happy that it comes with a front USBC and USB3.1 port. Unfortunately the integrated color selector and mode switches running off the integrated infinity panel, don't talk to the ASRock RGB controller and are just overridden by it, so no front panel button control for lighting unless I dump the MB integration. Securing the Micro-ITX board required tweezers and patience to line up everything, particularly on the bottom, and some of the CPU and Fan headers end up right at the bottom of the case since the MB ends up almost upside down, making it a challenge to connect them after mounting the board. I'm fairly happy with the cable routing otherwise, though I do wish the bottom of the Phanteks chassis (it sits inside the Aluminum outer case) did come apart for easier access, but it is unfortunately riveted to the chassis elements instead of screwed in. It would also be a nice place to mount a fan at the bottom of the case, and it would provide welcome access to the 'top' of the MB for all the FAN headers and mounting screws. But I'm satisfied overall. I do plan to upgrade the graphics card (Christmas maybe), but this is much more of a general purpose DEV/IT Admin/Home PC and I don't game much so it's not that pressing to me. Right now I use it to support a number of Virtualbox VMs and for personal development work.$1,732.94 -

The Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master X using Intel's 14700k CPU and Sapphire's 7900 xtx 24GB GPU has brought my gaming into the front lines of 2024. I currently play games like GTA V online, MWIII, Minecraft, and a little W.O.W. I haven't started streaming yet, but this was built with the best experience in mind. This machine should last me for the next 8+ years with enough capabilities to easily be relevant until the end. Without getting too deep into the metrics, I am able to run MWIII at maximum settings and still avg. ~230 FPS. I am only using dual 1080p monitors by the way, but that is going to be upgraded to 4k monitors to match the quality of my new build. On the side, I have an older model Yamaha receiver, HTR-6240, a 5.1 channel Surround sound experience like no other on a desktop PC.$2,837.86
