This build came to be after a four hour drive with my brother down to our nearest Microcenter in Marietta GA (Nashville moment). We put everything together over the course of the weekend. I am a Student, Musician, Content Creator and Collegiate Overwatch player, so i wanted to build a space where i could do all of these things, but also relax after a long day.$6,814.86 -

The goal of this build is to be able to handle modern games running with high graphics settings like Monster Hunter: Wilds and Atelier Yumia without tanking performance and to be ready for GTA 6 next year. As expected for this price point: I'm facing no issues with it whatsoever and am very happy with how it looks and how its performance blows whatever I could previously do before totally out of the water.$1,957.92 -

The old build still runs great, but can't keep up with current titles. I will keep it as a backup retro PhysX gaming pc if I ever want to revisit older game titles. The new build went together perfectly and worked right out of the gate. I'm thrilled to be able to access ray tracing and DLSS now. I have been missing big.$2,649.92 -

I was planning to upgrade to a 5070 ti but there is no stock, and then I heard about the horrible news about the missing ROP hardware defect, so I am glad I ended up getting an amd gpu instead. I love the huge 24 gb vram on the gpu, it would be great if I ever got into tinkering with machine learning, but most importantly it's great for gaming.$2,215.92 -

My old build from 2019 had a hard time running the games I wanted to play, so during Black Friday I decided to build a new pc. I had an initial budget of 1.2k, but after searching for parts for a while, I ended up overspending $300. I could have saved on many parts like the cpu cooler, but I really like the Noctua cooler because it runs super quietly. So far the pc has been running great. I am very happy with it.$1,514.92 -

This is my first build, and it was supposed to be a budget build, but the cost added up quickly. I didn't plan the entire thing out and buy the part over the span of 6 month looking for deals. I was able to build this PC because of a CPU + Board + RAM combo deal, and it was incredibly helpful since I was building around a $1,500 budget! (I actually managed to get in way under budget, which was a wonderfully welcome surprise) Originally, I optioned it with an AMD RX 6750 XT GPU, but have since upgraded to a RTX 3080 Ti Founder's Edition.$1,314.92 -

I also use it as a cloud gaming rig. If I could've done something different. I think I would've gone for a cpu with x3d. Something like a 7800x3d would've been worth it in the competitive scene, but I still got a great deal with the microcenter bundle. As a side note, I bought my gpu and cpu cooler separately from Microcenter. Zotac 3080 OC and a Peerless Assassin cooler. Everything else I got for an unbelievable price.$1,364.92 -

And in this industry strong computers are needed to carry out rendering and processing the animation. So I thought why settle for buying the whole computer set up when I can pool my resources and put together on of the most powerful computers in the market. I took inspiration from performance over presentation, I took the strongest parts in the market I could afford and had them put together into The Monolith. It may not be eye candy but it’s sure as heck is powerfull$2,104.93 -

It's currently running Ubuntu 24.04, but will add another M.2 SSD for Windows and gaming. Currently I'm participating in multiple scientific distributed computing projects with boinc, I have transcoded ripped blu rays (1080p so far) at a stable 500 fps to AV1 mkv's using ffmpeg (cuda hw accelerated). I plan to run an LLM locally, and want to see if i can run a 70B model without too much quantization, and compare to my old rig (core i7 3770, 16GB ram, GTX 1080). That only ran 13B models max. I might need more system memory. Lol.$2,424.92 -

This started out as a "minor upgrade" to my gaming machine... ended up as a "build completely new machine and only keep the GPU and data drive". And I only kept the data drive since I replaced it a couple of months ago. Components not listed are the RTX 2080ti GPU, a 500GB NVMe as a boot device and a 2TB NVMe for data. Both Samsungs, but I don't remember the exact models (Evo 980 and 970 something). I output to a TV so I'm limited to 60FPS at 4K, and so far I am getting that with the highest settings on every game I've tried with no DLSS.$1,058.63 -

This one was built for image processing using either Photoshop and DaVinci Reslove. I have built several systems in the past for myself and family members. This time I wanted to push the performance envelope more and make fewer cost compromises. In Photoshop I experiment with many of the creative tools. I also restore photos and create of still frames for video. For my street photography, I use Photoshop for some of the more challenging RAW processing and color grading. In DaVinci Resolve I edit short documentaries and clean up live stream videos that I produce, including color grading.$3,461.83
