It was under $2000 without tax, but came up to around $2500 with tax and the great Micro Center warranty to cover all the parts. This was a huge learning experience. It was my first AIO and vertical GPU mount. It was fun to build with new components. Was someone limited by what was in stock, but was able to get all parts in one day with the guidance of the Micro Center Westmont staff. Combo deals were great.$2,049.92 -

It's my first so it took a while for me to learn to set it up, but it's perfect now. I am currently playing stalker 2 and atomfall on this machine and it runs perfect. I probably need to upgrade my monitor soon because I am currently hooked it up to my tv which is 60hz. I am thinking a 1440p OLED 240HZ monitor should be good?$2,034.92 -

They don’t use it heavily for gaming. It’s been a while since I last built one. I just wanted to build it and have something nice to look at on my table. When planning this, I initially intended it to be a bit less flashy with a stealth look, but as this was my first build and one I will have for quite some time I decided to go all out and go "Over Budget". The build focuses on raw performance and raster which is why I decided to go with the XFX 7900 XTX and the 9800x3D. The Hyte Y70 Touch was the over-the-top case it needed to give it that much more flair. The same goes for the 9 Lian Li SL Infinity Fans! I have been really pushing it to its limits recently by playing Old School RuneScape and having a YouTube video open on the side monitor!$3,009.86 -

I got the 7700x, a more affordable AM5 CPU, but it still does everything you need it to do. Also with the stunning Steel Legend 9070 with the RGB fans, which will deliver great cooling and performance. Also great aesthetics with the Hyte Y40 Snow White edition, which looks super clean and slick compared to the normal white version. Solid 1 Tb storage and 32 GB of memory, B650 Pro RS motherboard also which basically does everything I need it to do. The Thermaltake PSU will do fine, and I see nothing wrong with it so far. Overall, great, aesthetic build that still performs.$1,545.93 -

This is the first gaming PC I assembled and I'm loving every single second I use it. The only things I could consider adding are more fans but I'm not 100% sure yet if I need them, if I end up adding more it would be at the bottom, below the GPU. I'm playing mostly Marvel Rivals and Monster Hunter Wilds right now, but I also play a any random single player game I feel like playing.$2,485.93 -

Wanted to create my first true custom build after a few years with my $500 build. Once I saw the Y70 case, i fell in love and needed to make my build around it. To match the case I wanted the perfect graphics card vertically mounted inside. When I heard about Yeston's Sakura series, I knew this case could showcase it's beauty. After that I leaned more into the anime theme with Sailor moon. Having the fan covers it would be easy for me to swap out themes later on. I was thinking the next one will be Junko inspired.$2,368.95 -

I ran into some RAM issues initially, I bought the Trident Z5 RAM, but it constantly triggered a yellow light on my motherboard. So, I ended up getting Corsair RAM, which resolved the issue. Other than that, everything else went smoothly. I also plan on adding more Lian-Li fans to the back of the case to make it more complete, and getting Lian-Li Strimer cables for additional RGB flair.$2,079.92 -

I’m happy with the way it came out except for some of the wiring due to the TUF PSU having very malleable cabling. Not a bad thing I’m just inexperienced. Also, I wanted an AIO with an LCD screen but the NZXT and Ryujin still sit at a high price. I despise the large pump on the rug aio, but love the pump head despite not having a screen. Next purchase will be a monitor to take advantage of the 4090 but for now I’m super happy with what I have$3,054.92 -

Finally decided to part ways with my old and ugly pc and upgrade after 8 long years. Had to wait forever for my 3080 Ti to arrive but it was worth the wait. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, maybe I could have done a better job with the cables but.... The only major issue is that one of my 144hz monitors doesn't have any of the ports with which I could get 144hz due to the 3080 Ti only having HDMI and DP, so I'm stuck with 60hz on that for now until I find a new one (I think)... Buuut I was surprised I didn't run into any other issues besides losing one or two screws... :p$1,866.93 -

The case is a Hyte Y40; Hyte collabs with Hololive limited edition case. It came with a bunch of accessories. The case itself, it's OK. Doesn't have a lot of space in the back, so I just gave up on cable management and shoved everything underneath as much as I could. Y40 is a high quality case but over price. They should reduce the price and sell riser cable separately. Vertical GPU looks nice but it is too close to the panel. I'll install it horizontal later. PSU is a bit overpowered. I have Corsair SP120 fans on my last build. I didn't know how loud they were until I got these Lian Li fans.$3,234.92 -

Maxing out what AMD has to offer gaming wise in early 2023 with other parts chosen to achieve that while not going overboard with budget, other goals were to try get a smaller case with no glass panels due to the owner's preferences. Pretty simple selection logic but in my opinion it's a good template to go by for people wanting a similar build. As a side note, getting a cheaper 7900 XTX would be a good way to save money but in this case I decided spending more for a card with better cooling would be beneficial for people that do close to no maintenance on their PCs, as it should help with longevity in general.$2,810.94 -

I built this absolute unit of a PC to handle pretty much anything I can throw at it with long term life in mind. Rather than build something that’s so obsolete that it’s tough to play new titles in two years, I can comfortably expect to game on this machine for a Considerable amount of time. Coupled with the Hyte Y60 case and LianLi SL140 & SL120v2 fans, it stays cool even through the toughest games on the highest graphics settings. I use it for GTARP on FiveM, Iracing, Numerous shooters, and even flight sims.$2,980.88
