My goal was to play Team Fortress 2 with a buncha friends back in the day, but now the build has way surpassed its purposes. Now I use it to play games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy XIV, and some more recent titles and showcase games such as Control, Monster Hunter Wilds, DOOM Eternal, whatever's on Game Pass and more. Most importantly, I use this computer to get a buncha rounds of Balatro in. As a creator, I stream with my PNGTuber model on occasion, and thanks to the beefiness of the AMD Ryzen 7700x and the Radeon 7900 GRE I have, I'm able to do that with no sweat off my computer's brow. I've always wanted to have a gaming computer since I was a kid, and it feels incredible to have that dream come true.$1,818.91 -

The build focuses on raw performance and raster which is why I decided to go with the XFX 7900 XTX and the 9800x3D. The Hyte Y70 Touch was the over-the-top case it needed to give it that much more flair. The same goes for the 9 Lian Li SL Infinity Fans! Brand new build for early February 2024. The Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master X using Intel's 14700k CPU and Sapphire's 7900 xtx... Brand new build for early February 2024. The Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master X using Intel's 14700k CPU and Sapphire's 7900 xtx 24GB GPU has brought my gaming into the front lines of 2024. I currently play games like GTA V online, MWIII, Minecraft, and a little W.O.W. I haven't started streaming yet, but this was built with the best experience in mind. This machine should last me for the next 8+ years with enough capabilities to easily be relevant until the end. Without getting too deep into the metrics, I am able to run MWIII at maximum settings and still avg. ~230 FPS. I am only using dual 1080p monitors by the way, but that is going to be upgraded to 4k monitors to match the quality of my new build. On the side, I have an older model Yamaha receiver, HTR-6240, a 5.1 channel Surround sound experience like no other on a desktop PC.$2,837.86 -

All items were purchased within around a week, taking advantage of some online Black Friday sales This system is primarily for gaming, and some video editing, I've paired it with a LG 32GP750 1440p 165Hz monitor, I also have it hooked up to a 55" Sony X90k to run 4k 120Hz. No complaints putting everything together, the popular Corsair 4000D was super easy for install and had more than ample room for the huge 7900XTX, also no crazy RGB here, just simple and neat. Temps have been good so far, the Peerless Assassin cooler is plenty, I have yet to see temps run past about 70c with gaming use. There's definitely coil whine coming from the GPU during intensive gameplay, can be annoying but not a huge deal when you have your volume up or headphones in.$2,027.92 -

Since my last build was also extremely loud with 12+ fans in the Antec LanBoy Air case, I set out to build something that would be significantly quieter while gaming and succeeded. This system is also intended to be ultra reliable, requiring only periodic dusting for maintenance, and highly upgradeable over the next few years as needed. This build ended up going a completely different direction from the i9-13900K and Z790 Maximus Hero that I originally purchased, but I have to say that I've been extremely happy with it even though I've always been an Intel fan.$3,607.89 -

Then in this past year, I decided to go all out so I got myself the best parts I could afford and rebuilt my old pc and adding in hardline liquid cooling. I swapped the gpu cpu and motherboard to the new am5 chip. It took 7 years but I finally upgraded. I was an Nvidia stan for the longest time, but the price/performance of the 40... It took 7 years but I finally upgraded. I was an Nvidia stan for the longest time, but the price/performance of the 40 series is awful right now so I jumped ship for the first time, and I couldn't be happier! I originally went for the 7900 xt, but Microcenter bumped up to the 7900 xtx for FREE because of a stock issue. 750$ for the best card radeon makes will be a core memory for life. Not to mention the 399$ 7700x cpu/mobo/ram bundle. GPU, CPU, Mobo, RAM, SSD, Case, & an AIO All in all for around 1600$ (the price of a 4090 XD). Now I can spend the saving on a custom keyboard and a more expensive monitor.$1,869.93 -

This pc is used for games like apex, fortnite, and pretty much every triple a title at 4K. I cheaped out on the motherboard... probably a future upgrade but this one is perfectly fine for now. The build itself didn't take that long, the fan/rgb hub in the case was wired incorrectly and took me way too long than it should to figure it out. LOL I GOT IT!!!
