I wanted to change to AMD from Intel (14900K) and had the opportunity to do so with the 9800X3D - With the change, I decided to do a new build and expand my case size for the upcoming 5090 and maybe another AMD CPU in the near future.$4,617.95 -

The "UltraGame Dominator" was designed to be an absolute gaming powerhouse capable of crushing modern titles at ultra settings with impressive FPS numbers. With a Ryzen 5 5600X at the core and an RTX 3060 12GB GPU, this rig is built to provide smooth performance in a wide variety of competitive games like Fortnite at 360+ FPS, Warzone at 200+ FPS, and GTA FiveM at 200+ FPS, even at high/ultra settings. These specs ensure that I have an edge in fast-paced games like Valorant, CS, and Rainbow Six Siege, where high frame rates are essential. The 32GB of RAM ensures excellent multitasking, while the combination of a Kingston NVMe2 SSD and a Samsung 990 EVO guarantees lightning-fast boot and load times for both the operating system and games. The inclusion of Wi-Fi makes this build versatile, allowing me to game or stream wirelessly if needed, and Windows 11 provides the latest gaming optimizations. Besides gaming, this machine also serves as a content creation platform, where I edit gameplay footage and stream to Twitch. With the included keyboard, mouse, and microphone, it's a well-rounded setup for gaming, streaming, and video editing. In hindsight, I might consider upgrading the GPU in a few years or possibly adding custom cooling or RGB for more visual flair. Future upgrades could also include expanding the storage as newer games require more space.$921.94 -

I play fortnite, TF2, Sniper GW Contracts, and other games at 1440p max settings and get well over 120 fps average and no less than 100 fps 1% lows.$1,004.14 -

I've sold my previous PC and built a new recently in a black case. Primarily, I'm using this PC for light gaming and content creation (video editing, photoshop and website design). For future I want to upgrade: 1. CPU for Ryzen 7 5700x 2. Motherboard for B550 3. GPU for RTX3060 or RTX4060$425.91 -

Built this AMD 8700G PC for coding and running programs that I need for my mad science lab, but looks like it will be my wife's PC instead. She will use it for general PC activities including some casual 1080p gaming (Secret World Legends, Entropia, and others that I don't know the names of). A few years from now, if her old Nvidia/Intel based gaming PC breaks down then I may overclock this one and/or add a video card, or maybe even drop in a new CPU. Am using the heat sink that came with the 8700G CPU, and during a bit of gaming the temp never got above 32 degrees C so I won't be upgrading to water cooling. It has very low power use and it is whisper quiet.$1,335.90 -

My old pc served me well for 7 years, longest I've ever gotten out of one before, but it was time for an upgrade. Started playing Diablo 4 with my friends and my old pc just couldn't keep up. Went from an i5-4450 cpu, Asus H97P mobo, Asus Strix GeForce GTX 970 gpu, 24gb of Kingston HyperX FURY ram to this new build and am very impressed so far. This is also my first build in over 20 years that I have booted up on the 1st try with no problems like forgetting to plug something in, which I largely contribute to having a fully modular PSU. Only thing I'm missing at the moment is adding 2 140mm fans to the top of the case which I'll be doing soon, once my fingers heal from this install.$1,601.88 -

It ran fortnite at about 8 fps on low settings, so I figured if I want to do fps games, I should get a pc. I use it to play games like gta v, the ori series, and a bit of Minecraft. I wish I had either waited for ryzen 7000 to drop in prices, or had gone with intel instead, as that was a poor financial decision on my part, as motherboard, cpu, and ram prices were pretty high. I may want to vertical-mount my gpu in a bit.$1,648.92
