Main reason I decided to get this PC was because I really wanted to play Escape from Tarkov and stream it as well. Recently I've gotten away from Tarkov and have mostly been learning Squad, which I also stream here and there. So far those are the main games I've played so far but in the future I plan on getting some sim racing gear so I can get into IRacing and Assetto Corsa. This project is essentially a rebuild of a gaming pc I had previously assembled. This previous build had problems, though. Specifically, I had temps on my 5800x that were quite frankly unacceptable, often spiking over 90 degrees C while under heavy load from a video editing application. The Arctic Liquid Freezer II is one of the best reviewed cpu coolers and has made a significant positive impact on the cooling for this build. One thing I learned through this process is that there is more than one revision of the Ryzen 7 5800x cpu. Many online review sites demonstrate newer revisions of the 5800x run a cooler temperatures and at a lower power draw. So looking back on my purchases, I wish I had specifically bought only the newer revision of the 5800x.$2,044.92 -
