Currently play SC2, LOL,D3,OW,MHW, Sea of Thieves, BL3 and DOS2 are just some of the main games I play. I also do video editing on the side for additional income but pc renders it pretty slow due to old cpu. Outside of that I love watching live twitch streams while I play games or working on stuff. Have the pc hooked up to the wall mounted tv to watch Netflix and other streaming services from the comfort of my bed. Hoping to upgrade my pc in the near future to be able to handle both gaming and video editing. Would also like to start streaming but right now pc a little to old to handle good stream quality and gaming performance. Thing I hoping to upgrade in the near future is an AMD Ryzen 3900X, MSI X570 Gaming MOBA, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3200. I built it this summer to do some gaming and help with my online classes. I mostly play eSport and AAA titles such as CSGO, R6:Siege, GTAV, Borderlands, Gears of War, and COD. The 2060 Super/Ryzen 3600 combo is amazing and runs almost any game at 1080p High settings with no problem and performs well at 1440p. I think it should be an amazing PC for the next few years but I may look to upgrade the storage down the line. Currently I only have a Seagate 2TB HDD and a 256GB Inland Premium M.2 SSD so I will probably add another 2TB HDD or a 1TB Samsung 2.5in SSD. I may also look to upgrade the AIO. The white H100i fits the color scheme amazingly but I really like the look of the LCD display on the NZXT Z63. I also might buy two more Corsair LL120 RGB fans to replace the stock NZXT fans I currently have mounted on the radiator.$1,883.87 -

Specifically, I had temps on my 5800x that were quite frankly unacceptable, often spiking over 90 degrees C while under heavy load from a video editing application. The Arctic Liquid Freezer II is one of the best reviewed cpu coolers and has made a significant positive impact on the cooling for this build. One thing I learned through this process is that there is more than one revision of the Ryzen 7 5800x cpu. Many online review sites demonstrate newer revisions of the 5800x run a cooler temperatures and at a lower power draw. So looking back on my purchases, I wish I had specifically bought only the newer revision of the 5800x.$2,044.92 -

I built this PC myself 8 years ago, though I've obviously upgraded it a few times since then. Never quite got the hang of perfect cable management, so it doesn't look super fancy or anything, but it definitely does the job. I actually built it because I didn't want to buy the new Xbox One at the time and I wanted to look at a cheaper option with a smaller budget, which turned out to be PC gaming. Since then, I've splurged whenever I could afford to, and though it's no longer the cheapest option like I originally planned, I do get a powerful system that looks so fantastic in action! My PC is for mostly gaming. I play just about anything that catches my eye, from lesser known games like Duck Game and Temtem, to AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077 and GTA V. My favorites though, have to be Detroit: Become Human, Payday 2, Borderlands 2, and Beat Saber (I have the original Vive for anyone curious!). I also draw, write papers, and did all my work on it in college, so it doubles for general purpose. I think I'm done upgrading for a few years, as I just got my GPU and new PSU this past year, but my next will definitely have to include the CPU/MOBO/RAM. In case anyone is wondering, I still am entering the competition despite not needing an upgrade myself, because I'm getting my boyfriend into PC gaming now! I'm surprising him with a 3060 Ti that I was able to grab next week, but we still need everything else eventually. :') As for anything I'd do differently, I guess work on my cable management and how neat it looks inside with the lighting, but I can always fix that next time I do anything with it, I guess. :)$3,357.92 -
