(I have an Alienware R7 that's on its last legs) I built this PC for my Dad. He saw how much fun I was having in my games, so he wanted to get into gaming without breaking the bank. We played Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, and Fortnite, and he's been having a blast on his time off from work. I'm glad that everything turned out ok, and for the price to performance, I'm really glad about how everything turned out. Along with that, I wanted this to be an upgrade to our family's main workstation PC which was an ancient HP desktop that we got back in 2008. For what he does, it will last him for another 5-10 years. Thanks to Micro Center for stocking all of these parts at great prices!$561.76 -

I think it turned out very well, and with a few tweaks to the GPU settings, I can hit over 100 fps on all current games (Minecraft, Fortnite, Battlefield, etc.) at 1080p medium graphics settings. I like to run a few cad sims and code just for fun. I don't really do any computationally demanding tasks, so the parts I have are significant for my current needs. I plan on upgrading sometime in the near future (around Q3 2023) to something like a 3070 ti/ 4070 or a 6800 xt so I can run games at 1440p.$939.91 -

This PC was a build with a case and GPU I purchased from a previous owner for cheaper than retail. I decided to spend extra on the CPU and Motherboard for upgradeability, but used the stock cooler because I haven't encountered any issues with overheating (I don't overclock). I've mainly used this PC for my general needs and some light gaming on Valorant, Apex, and Siege. I haven't really tested any games with heavier requirements, and I probably won't be playing anything super intensive until I eventually get a better graphics card. In the future I want to upgrade to 32GB of RAM and maybe pick up a better monitor, but right now this PC is serving me well.$1,094.93 -

I mainly play Valorant, Halo MCC, Forza, and Assassin's Creed. It initially had a Ryzen 3 APU until I've upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X coupe months ago. I plan on upgrading my GPU. I current have a Gtx 1660 Ti but there is some coil whine when the %utilization goes above 80%, so I pretty much have to limit myself graphical settings to the medium preset for most games. I hope that I can purchasing any RTX card (preferably the RTX 3060 since I only have a 650 Watt PSU) whenever they are in stock.$1,141.92 -

I built this PC because I found case at Micro Center that caught my attention, the Maingear Vybe mid tower case that is in red. The purpose of this rig is basically for general computing, desktop computing, gaming. The games I play are usually FPS games from Roblox. I do plan on getting other fps games and BeamNG Drive also. I also used this to upload my gameplay videos, (channel: ix.cryorig_games) I upgraded my stock cooler to a vetroo V5, and added 2 more sticks of crucial ballistix 16gb kit at 3200mhz. Also, this build of mine was inspired after the SRT Hellcat, so the red and black theme will be perfect. I also added in some sleeved extensions from inland, and it really matches my build. My case fans are Arctic bioniX and Arctic P12 PWM PST's. Bitwit's videos also inspired me to make a build this nice!$1,131.90 -

This is my first PC build, and I wanted to exceed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 recommended specs while working around my current 1080p 60 Hz monitor. I wanted something relatively compact that would work well for now, but would be easily upgradeable when I get a better monitor. Likely PC upgrades will be an RTX GPU and DDR4 3600 RAM, perhaps aftermarket CPU cooling. In hindsight I would probably opt for the faster RAM right out of the gate, but it's been a solid performer so far.$812.90 -

She started with her PS4 playing fortnite and other games that was able to play using that platform. When she noticed the the real great players uses a PC specifically built to handle extreme gamers, we decided it's time for her to get one She started practicing using the mouse and keyboard to play fortnite connected to her PS4. Once she got comfortable, I asked her "Nyobia" to research gaming PC 's so we can get an idea of how much it will cost. I also asked people I knew were gamers for their input. We were now ready to build our own PC. Went to microcenter and was fortunate to speak with two of their workers Shaun and Maurice. After a brief conversation with Shaun he suggested I have a professional build one for many reasons. I agreed after thinking and weighing the pros and cons. Shaun directed me to Maurice and I told him what we needed. I have him the specs given to me and he compared them to what microcenter had in comparison. I gave him my budget and away he went. He explained everything to me in detail. He offered his suggestions and once we gathered up what's needed he save me a couple hundred bucks. Maurice also made it so Nyobia can start streaming when she is ready. The outcome ifs fantastic. Nyobia is ecstatic loving every minute of her new gaming PC. The colors superb, speed remarkable and it also looks great. This will last a while ABC's during the time of upgrades are neccessary I will go to microcenter to her it done.$1,324.87 -

I hadn't known what Cyberpunk or what the cyber/futuristic aesthetic was until spring of this year. Pre-covid I had dabbled in the music that is vaporwave, cyberwave, futuristic club, etc. However, I had not known about Cyberpunk 2077's existence really until I had started seeing memes of Keanu Reeves on Instagram. That is when I looked into it, it was around late 2019 or early this year. I began watching trailers, gameplay previews, and other lore-related videos hyping up the game on YouTube. Honestly I had never become so interested and passionate about a game release until now. After looking into it, I knew this game was it, and I quickly handed over my money to CD Projekt Red, as I had also found out that they had been the genius masterminds behind Witcher 3, another one of my favorite games. I grew so heavily invested into the game, that I set out to create the ultimate machine that would embody the whole concept of futuristic cyberpunk and harness it within one god-like gaming/streaming rig. I knew that I, one day, would also try to get into streaming, so I thought why not create a powerful yet pretty rig capable of pretty much anything involving multi-threaded processes, whether it be video streaming, homework, gaming, or even work-from-home. Shortly, after getting placed on furlough, I set out to do all of my research, and this happened. A process of 5 months + worth of hardware research, culminating until one god-tier rig that would serve me not only for this spectacular game release, but for decades to come into my later adulthood: The Cyber-Ripper. Being 20 years old, I didn't have much time or money, however I been saving for something like this, as I had always been sort of a techie. But never like this...I had become infatuated by anything tech in general, and I set out watching almost every Linus, Gamers Nexus, and JayzTwoCents video known to man. As if that wasn't already nerdy enough, I ended up spending many many pretty pennies on all sorts of different computer parts. Luckily enough for me, due to the circumstances of the current covid situation, my parts were scattered all across the world. I waited many many weeks to receive each and every part needed to make this whole build happen. After the 5-6 months of just pure research and saving alone, I swiped my card one day and begun the wait, waiting for all my hard work to come to fruition. Slowly but surely, all of my parts came in, one by one, the last part being the power supply which took a solid 3 months from the date I ordered it to come into my possession. I was nervous, sweat beaded down my forehead and arms as I built this rig in the heat of my second-story room. Mind you, I live in southern Cali, so my room gets quite hot during the day and afternoon. When it finally booted up into bios and I saw all the pretty lights lighting up, I was ecstatic and I knew my time has come. As corny as it sounded, I was fully ready to game. Now is the waiting game again, as the release for the big-hit title Cyberpunk 2077 looms ahead of us. I honestly cannot wait to overclock this thing and run everything at 4K on my beauty-of-a monitor, the Predator XB273K which is capable of 4K at 144 hz, WITH G-sync and HDR enabled. I am super excited and looking forward to the release date, where I can delve into the beautiful scenery that is Night City and experience the experience I had been waiting for. All in all, I built this computer because of Cyberpunk, and I do not regret it. All themes and looks of the build was inspired by the aesthetic presentation that Cyberpunk left on me as a first impression back when I first heard about it in 2019. I hope you all enjoy looking at it, and yes I do know the current GPU is a huge bottleneck, however I wanted to wait for the next series of RTX 3000 graphics cards until I shelled out anymore money, I hope you all understand. Now that I am off furlough and working hard, I'm gonna be looking into that brand-spanking new RTX card which hopefully will release around the time Cybperunk does. ;) Thanks for viewing and have a good one.$3,917.94 -

Built mainly for price to performance gaming and school work. i sold my original build (i7 3770k, msi gtx 650) and saved to build this after working hard this summer, picked the parts based on best price to performance deals. i chose black and red so that i can match my desk and hyper fury x full table mouse pad. if i were to upgrade my set up it would be the monitor from a 75 hz monitor to a 144 hz monitor. i would also upgrade the graphics card and buy an ssd for winodows. with the extra money i can help upgrade my little brothers pc while upgrading mine aswell.$894.19 -

This is a budget PC built on purpose for a home office in a new construction by Toll Brothers. The design of the 4000 square feet house is towards the modern style in the interior decoration. The office room has a full suite of barn style wooden furniture. This PC has to fit naturally into a customized ladder desk between two windows. The RGB is a must-to-have feature to add some live and modern element to the office. The spectrum theme shown in the photo was not a good fit, but the white theme was perfect. The hardware itself is not important and could be an overkill for routine office work.$957.92 -

As for this build, I am super proud of, I have been building computers for years and this one takes the cake and you want to come back for more. This was built as a gift for a friend who has been thinking about streaming but did not have a great PC but also a console gamer. So a few friends got together and decided to put this in motion. We knew she is heavily into Overwatch, and their favorite character is Symmetra. With this in mind, I decided to do a Symmetra and Overwatch inspired build. Color matching can sometimes be difficult but the blue case fans & gray black of the case with the different skins that she has in-game would not be an issue. It shows off an aura and has a custom painted Overwatch logo (gray) on the side panel (Can be seen on Instagram). The best part of all of this is giving someone a gift that they had no idea was coming. Do good in the world, we need more of that.$859.91 -
