Build Description
This Enlight ATX case was originally built in the very late 90s with an AMD Thunderbird 350Mhz slot A CPU running Windows 98. Thru the years the computer has been upgraded many many times. This latest build has the Microcenter bundle offer with the AMD 5600X3D, Asus Tuf B550 Gaming WiFi II. Installed 32GB ram, topped off with a GPU is a EVGA RTX3060Ti. Corsair AIO water cooler.
Favorite Feature
All beige build! The front bezel has the original badge stickers of hardware installed over the years. In fact the IP address sticker on the upper right corner was put on at one of the first official Unreal Tournament LAN Gaming events. Ok, fav features...Fully functional 3.5 floppy drive in Windows 11. Ide DVD drive. The case has sound deadening, (installed in the days when screaming 15k RPM SCSI drives where installed) a real PC Speaker. Both Cool Drive hard drive bays has been upgraded with Noctua fans. Much quieter. The rear case pci slot covers have been replaced with vented black cover to tie in the Asus Tuf gaming theme. This boomer build is staying in the game and performing extremely well.
