by George Posted on: 6/2/2023Build Description
I build this desktop with the goal in mind to take (almost) all the components from my existing build and assemble them into a mini-itx based system. Of course, to do this I needed a different motherboard so I went from a z690 to a b660. I don't plan to overclock so the features lost from moving away from a z690 motherboard don't really affect me. This particular itx case (NR200P) comes with both tempered glass and vented aluminum panels as options. I chose the vented panel for better temperatures. Gaming performance in titles I play (which right now is Elden Ring) is just as solid as when I have this build on a larger atx form factor.
Favorite Feature
To the best of my ability, I tried to keep all the components matte black in color. I'm pretty happy with the end result. Everything looks pretty clean, uniform, and understated.
