Build Description
This is my gaming rig refresh. Went from a 650W PSU, GeForce 1070 and Ryzen 3600x to a 1000W PSU, RX 7900 XTX and Ryzen 7900x. I wanted to just swap the graphics card during the pandemic but wasn't able to find a graphics card at non scalper prices. The recent launch of graphics cards and chips along with micro center deals lead to just doing a new build and leaving the old one in tact for my children/partner. Everything ended up being from Microcenter except the case which I got a great deal on ebay (used open box) and the CPU cooler and a fan 3 pack from Amazon.
Favorite Feature
I like the black motif I was able to pull off across all components, and the case although a pain in the but to get the wires mostly clean is beautiful. I will add some RBG fans to the cooler but waiting for them to get to the house. Microcenter was the real MVP here, this build wasn't cheap but the CPU/RAM/Motherboard combo was nuts, the open box GPU was a score, and the PSU and M.2 were good deals on their own. I would have gone with the 7700x but the 7900x motherboard deal made it the winner.

This was an open box score from Microcenter that I was very happy to find. I have had no problems with the temperatures on this reference model.
