I was able to buy the ASUS X299-E GAMING Motherboard for $70 locally a few months ago. Since then, it's been chilling in my basement collecting dust. I've wanted to build around it for awhile, but just got the chance when I saw a Core i9 7900x for $155 online. Once I secured those deals, the rest was the best parts I could find for the price. This PC was built to sell (which is why I bought the i9 - good selling feature) because I already have a decent ITX daily driver. Because of the 10 core CPU and 32gb of ram, most professional workstation tasks should work fine on this system. I have no idea what the future buyer will use it for, but judging it based on my previous sales, gaming is the most popular in my local area. The processor is i9 7900x, microcenter didn't have it available at the time. I put the 11900k as a placeholder. Also the GPU is a Gigabyte 1070ti 8gb Gaming OC that I bought a few years back.$792.00 -

This was built for a family member looking for general use (accessing school emails and doing school work) but also to play Minecraft on the side as it's their favorite game. They also wanted to have a GPU that can handle a bit of 1080p gaming at 60fps and plans to take advantage of free games off Steam and Epic Game Launchers.$1,054.92 -

I chose the 5600G over the 5600X due to the small difference in performance. I wanted the integrated graphics for trouble shooting and in case I have to RMA my GPU I can still use the computer while waiting, albeit at much less graphics performance. I should still be able to game at low-mid settings near 60 FPS till the GPU comes back from the RMA. The 6600 XT will handle 1080p gaming on high setting with at least 60 FPS while streaming to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. If the 3060's hadn't been so expensive, I may have gone that route. As it is, I already exceeded my $750 budget and couldn't go any higher. I still have a couple things to add later. I want to add another kit of RAM to get me to 32Gb. I want to add 2 more case fans and a CPU cooler for better coolong (something like a hyper 212 Evo or similar, maybe a be quiet). I know a 5600G and a 6600XT aren't really gonna push thermals very high, but if I have a better cooler and a couple more fans then each fan won't have to run as high RPM and the system will be cool AND quiet.$1,071.93 -

My highschool had a two week course where we could learn and build our own computers, we had a budget of 500$ and the choice to add extra from our own money. This is my first build and I am very happy with how it turned out. Using our budgets, I bought the 400$ bundle at Micro Center that contained, Intel Core i9 12900K, ASUS Prime Z790-V WIFI motherboard, and the G.skill Ripjaw 32 Gb 2 x 16 ram. Additionally, I got a PowerSpec PS 650GSM 650 W power supply, a DeepCool AG400, and a Seagate Laptop Thin 500 GB 7200RPM SATA 6 GB/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Hard Disk Drive. Using my own money, I bought a Inland X1 black case, two Inland TN320 NVMe M.2 storage SSD's, and a Nvidia RTX 3050. I am very thankful I took this course and I am very content with how my PC turned out, it runs most games I play at high to max graphics (I mostly play RTS such as Men of War or Total War games). The total cost of this build was roughly 800$ USD with me paying around 270$ from my own pocket.$1,122.93 -

I used to be a competitive gamer but then shifted more towards casual light gaming while adding an emphasis on using the space for school. The build emphasizes form over function as I chose to make it look better instead of using the money for better parts. While I do regret not getting a better graphics card, I'm very happy with my build as it fits my everyday needs.$1,164.91 -

This is my next gaming PC, an upgrade from my old PC with an i5-6500k and GTX 960. I've been wanting ti play more modern titles that have caught my eye on Steam, so I decided it was about time to build a new PC. Sold my old one and reused the funds to build this one. Playing through some Elden Ring right now, and Nier: Automata is going to be next.$1,179.91 -

Originally built my PC back in 2018 with a pre-ordered Lian-Li O11 Dynamic in White. I did a full custom loop in it back in the day with my trusty 1700 and GTX 980 Ti. This year, I decided to upgrade to latest gen components while moving to a 34-in high refresh rate ultrawide as the demands were simply to great. A few rebends later and we're good to go! Still great to see that my 3+ year old pump and components are still working great.$1,201.93
