It was a i7-th gen MSI dual fan 1060ti, which was later upgraded to 2070 super. It was a prebuilt custom pc from cyberpower and over The years i've had so many issues with the p c sometimes. The case was terrible it caused a lot of overheating and my p c would crash often when I ran even medium load work like turning on rocket league. I figured it was time to build a new p c and this time I wanted to make sure I future proof it without worrying about cost. Because the last p c I bought I built a little conservative because I was still in college and so I didn't want to spend too much money. It was actually a long Time dream of mine to build a new PC. But this time get a case that actually looks cool and I've looked at a lot of open concept cases as well as a panoramic glass cases. I want exposure to the internal components. And also wanted some internal rgb in my build, not too much rgb. I play a lot of AAA games, also FPS shooters, etc. Some of the games i play are valorant, rocket league, cod, halo, overwatch 2, battlefield, csgo, etc. Also a lot of single player games like tomb raider, horizon, last of us, etc. Every game I played told now I have played using logo settings just so my p c would not crash. I wanted a build where i would have to worry about that and be able to play on hight/max settings so i can appreciate the details and art of the games. I've thought about getting into streaming and no right now. I'm thinking about getting into dollarant streaming and/ content creation. I am a huge fan of Keeoh and his videos. Even if I don't get a lot of viewers? I still wouldn't like to be able to stream just doing for the fun. I got all of the streamer components no, just built a very high end p c capable of high quality gameplay End multitask for streaming, Also got some nice streaming cameras a hyperex quadcast s mic. Not sure when I'm actually going to start streaming but hopefully. It's sometimes in your future once I settle in to my new apartment. At the moment instead of streaming I have a youtube channel where I post clips of really funny or good gameplay for f p s games. I'm going to continue doing that till I am able to stream$0.00 -

First build since 2002, was able to get my hands on a 3070 FE from a BB drop and then it was off to the races! Playing FPS games like COD and also simulator/strategy games like Satisfactory, AOE, Civ, etc. I ended up replacing the original RAM with Corsair Vengeance RGB sticks, and adding white cable extensions to match the rest of the build.$384.97 -

This is primarily a working computer (for personal business) however also for some gaming on the side. I used the same case I had before from a previous build 8 years ago, as well as the same old PSU (400W) and for the GPU, I used a GTX 1050 that I purchased about 5 years ago. So all in all, it was about $430 (with tax) for a computer that now is much faster and more stable, especially for the things I use it for now. (I have a better laptop for gaming). Without the RAM or with cheaper RAM it'd be even less of course. Note, if you buy the same processor, a separate GPU will be required as this CPU doesn't have it's own graphics. Note, the motherboard is indeed Windows 11 compatible but you need to turn on the TPM in the BIOS (it's off by default). It's pretty easy to do though. Asus shows you how on the support website. You'll note from the picture(s) that I also have an old wifi adapter in there. Also from the previous 8 year old build (but for faster DL speeds probably want a newer one of those). The mobo comes with a nice suite of software but you don't have to install it of course. There's one called AI Suite 3 that gives some fan/cpu info, as well as other things, also installs a quick interface on the desktop (that can be exited out of if desired) to quickly control fan speed. Also there's an "Armory Crate" from ASUS that does pretty much the same thing(s) so I'm not sure why have both. (?). The screenshot is from the Armory Crate where you can fine tune to your heart's desire. Also update drivers etc as desired (I just let Windows do most of that I'm not into overclocking and such especially for a build like this). Anyway, still kind of neat to check on occasion to make sure fans running well etc. My goal was to build a cheap computer that would perform well enough for the next 2-5 years. I think I've achieved this goal.$404.96 -

They need something that will meet minimum standards to play their basic games, do homework, and other general PC-based activities. This was the plan going into this project. It isn't top of the line by ANY standard, but it can be considered a gaming rig. It was built for a 10 year old, so the standards didn't have to be high, but it DID need to meet certain minimum requirements with processing speed, RAM, and graphics capabilities.$447.94 -

I really wanted to build an affordable computer when PC prices were sky high. I found centered it around the Ryzen 3 4350G, which was only $185 at the time. It was the most powerful APU under $200 (brand new!). Nowadays, it's a fraction of the price, but at the time (late 2021) it was a STEAL. Totally worth it for the budget.$450.00 -

Found someone local selling computer components for $250 for CPU+MB+RAM+CPUCooler+GPU and ended up picking up a Cooler Master TD500 Mesh and the power supply seperately in order to get everything together. This will be setup for someone who has been looking to start using a computer and of course having the GPU will be able to play some games that is age appropriate for them. Their parents were looking to buy a cheap computer and this build came out to be a lot less than their set budget (was 700).$480.00
