The gtx 970 was a tank of a card but it was time to move on. I built this computer for gaming and and general tasks and the 2060 super, Ryzen 7 combo works real nice together. I'm not a content creator because I'm old and boring haha but if I was ever forced into doing it I feel very confident this could handle it well.$1,135.92 -

In the past, I have purchased prebuilt laptops and desktops from well known companies. I wanted to get more "bang for my buck" and decided to build my first computer. I have never built a computer before but I thought it would be fun. I spent so much time watching different YouTube videos and I thought I could do it. My previous computers were not powerful enough to play games such as Valorant or Warzone. I didnt want to spend a ton but I wanted a PC that will be useful for gaming for the next several years with upgrade-ability down the line. It took time picking the parts for the build as I tried to do as much research as I could but once I decided on the parts, I chose Micro Center for the parts as they have absolutely everything. I was excited once I purchased everything but once I bought all the boxes home, I was somewhat worried I would break something and mess up it up royally. But I took my time and went slowly - I mean very slowly. I read each manual and watched more videos. The build took almost an entire day! When I pressed the power button, it worked! I was so excited when I got to the BIOS screen. There were no problems posting and its been running great so far. Im really happy with it and its been running games smoothly!$1,414.91 -

After using my 3rd gen i7(3770k) paired with a R9 290X for so long, it was finally time for an upgrade. I could no longer wait for a new generation to come out and so I pulled the trigger for an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, paired with a EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra. I plan to do the step up program to get a RTX 3070 in the future but for now, this build as a whole exceeds what I was previously using. I would consider this build to be all-around: gaming, future streaming, and video editing.$1,449.88 -

I needed a rig that could handle playing Beat Saber while running multiple programs, recording with green screen, camera, running PC game, and VR all at the same time. I built this pc because my old computer I had that was prebuilt when I purchased could not handle everything I wanted to do. Before this build, my old pc would keep lagging and I would end up being stressed and not playing after ten minutes. Even though I'll be using it for games, and also office work, it's nice that I now have a pc that will not only let me do anything without it lagging or freezing, but also a pc that I love and built myself from scratch. Emotionally rewarding and satisfying building my first pc! The journey to researching each part, and learning the components are great too. I knew nothing when I started this build. Now I can record/stream the games I love, and able to start recording so I can upload and share on youtube and hopefully on twitch soon (I am "LastFoodBender" in both platforms. Username is LastFoodBender because I love food lol). The games I mainly play are Beat Saber (also other VR games), Destiny 2, Fortnite, Fall Guys, World of Warcraft,Call of Duty (I love zombies). If it wasn't for Microcenter having much better prices than anywhere else I would not have been able to build this, and would have had to settle for lesser parts that I could afford within my budget which may have ended with a pc that was not fast enough to do everything I want. Eventually I would like to upgrade my GPU, get a bigger ssd, and higher psu; for now though, my pc is something I now absolutely love and proud of!$1,469.40 -

Wanted to put something together that could perform everyday tasks, but also play games and enjoy it's performance playing the likes of COD: Warzone, Valorant, Hyper Scape, Grounded, to name a few titles. This was a test doing a little custom painting on the NZXT H510 case which had the Red band but painted that white, taped it off and then sprayed out some black. From there taped off what needed to be and the entire inside of the case was painted white and came out looking nice for a really good Black/White contrast. I guess for the time being it's a work in progress that'll be ongoing. I'll be upgrading to a full ATX Case which will be white, as well as looking forward to picking up a Founders 3080 when they release to throw inside$1,504.97 -

Being a Mechanical Engineer requires a powerful PC, but you also need some down time to game your life away. I use this PC for CAD, 3D printing and gaming mostly. This build started in 2018 and slowly evolved into what I have now. Before my recent upgrade I had i5 6600k, 16Gb Trident z rgb, Gigabyte H110m, and very basic black fans. I now have NZXT kraken x63 on my Reyzen 7 3800x, 32Gb Trident z Neo at 3600Mhz, MSI RTX 2060, MSI b450 mortar max, 3 Corsair QL120 fans and 1 QL140 fan allowing me to stay cool and look cool while being able to maximize gaming and engineering performance. In the Future im hoping to get a Nvidia Geforce 2070 super Founders edition, a z63 cooler, and new power supply with sleeved wires, but for now I can manage.$1,509.93 -

My PC journey began when I watched an LTT video on upgrading an old Dell Optiplex into a "gaming" PC. I knew jack about PCs but I always wanted to build one myself. The Optiplex I bought had an i7-3700 (an LGA 1155 socket and it was hard to find a compatible motherboard) but it was a slim case and was completely different than what I thought I learned. I was determined to make it work and like everyone, had to learn what was compatible. Over a course of months, I procured all the parts from eBay, Amazon, FB marketplace, etc. Connecting cables to the tiny motherboard pins suck and I'll always hate it. The joy I felt when my beloved Frankenstein PC booted up and worked perfectly, to say the least. No more laptop, I was a PC gamer and I could finally play games like Doom, DMC 5, and Tekken 7 at 60 FPS (feelsgoodman). The new PC is bought with my big boi monies, over months with hella deals and savings (thx microcenter) and other websites. My PC may not be as RGB, white, bougie, or flexing as some other builds but I'm digging the gamer green that matches with the jade Shenron I bought. There's more stuff but the build parts list is kinda jank and I don't want to bother with it.$1,636.94 -

To get a taste for performance and possibly immerse my self into the deep world of pc gaming and building pcs. Im now addicted to the whole process from picking the components to the building to the satisfaction of seeing it all running smoothly. I decided to jump in head first and there's no turning back now. My rig is still ever evolving. I still plan on making more improvements. i.e. Aorus Gigabyte rtx 3080 , Aorus Z490 mother board, lian li rgb strimmer cables(8 & 24 pin)... I like playing Cyberpunk, Apex legends, fortnite, and Predator: Hunting grounds. Oh and anything racing. My epic ID is evil.askari . I'm still learning a lot about this particular field but I'm focused and passionate about this and wouldn't mind sharing thoughts and info on anything pertaining to pcs and gaming. I'm also interested in 3d rendering 3d printing, vinyl cutting. I have a Cricut and a great press for making custom images for t shirts. So I also want my rig to$1,789.91
