Upgrade to Aging 2013 build, I wanted to be able to play at max on 1080p on all games and max on 1440p on most games, my friend gave me the RTX 2080 super and the tuf gaming case and the ryzen 7 3700x so that helped reduce costs alot on build. I already had monitor and speakers for this build along with some external drives.$434.95 -

I built this for my little brother, we started with a dell optiplex and slowly but surely started upgrading parts until it was a completely different pc. The main reason I switched him from xbox to pc was it was a lot less restrictive on what you can do, as most of his friends were on pc and discord so I didn't want him to feel left out. We talked about each upgrade every step of the way to make sure its something he actually wanted and not something he'd dislike later down the line. I put together the desk, shelves and pin boards too so he could be comfy while he games with his friends. I'm really happy with how it's turned out so far, we've had a great time putting it together with each other and I am very surprised I have not fried anything yet!$445.89 -

Wanted to build a cheap gaming pc as I'm somewhat of a lighter gamer and don't need a ton of computing power. Decided on something with the 12100f, so here it is. Found a 1660 super for a decent price used, the case was on sale, and I had this PSU already from an earlier sale.$486.44 -

Initially I was going to use the 7700x but decided with the 5800x3d as it felt better suited for my needs and DDR5 ram didn't seem that useful for gaming as I don't use productivity applications.$534.96 -

Recent games include Hades, The Council, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Control, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Psychonauts 2, and Destiny 2. A long while ago I upgraded from a 1070 to the 2080 when I went to 4k, knowing that it still wasn't quite enough. 30 series launch was too tough to get cards, so I decided to wait until the 40 series. Now the 40 series is terrible price to performance ratio, so I'm contemplating sitting out this gen until the 50 series. If prices go down, I might spring for a 4080 or 4090, but will more likely get a 4070ti to hold me over until next gen. I'll likely upgrade to a 5800x3D when I upgrade my GPU, at least until the AM5 platform matures a little more.$594.95 -

I mainly built it to play PC-exclusive games like Project Zomboid and Garry's Mod. But I also wanted a powerful, fast, and snappy PC in order to get my schoolwork done and for streaming. I've already upgraded my CPU cooler from a stock fan cooler to a heatsink tower. I have a Ryzen 5 5600G alongside 16gbs of RAM, an RX 6650 XT, and a 1tb SSD.$684.94 -

This is a great gaming PC with more than enough CPU, RAM AND GPU (1080-Ti) No issues running the video at max at 1080p without worry about overheating due to the hybrid air + water cooled system. Running Windows 11 Pro, Even through the part list is older, I plan that this build should last for several years to come. Initially used the 5600G for gaming, but thankfully found a 1080ti for really cheap to play games in higher graphics settings in 1080p.$684.95 -

He is 20 years old and lives at home, he has autism and can't work so he spends most of his time gaming. For the last 4 years he's been gaming on a Ryzen 2600X/1660ti and he recently expressed the desire for a dual-monitor setup. I realized that this was the perfect time for a refresh of his computer. He plays almost exclusively Fortnite, Valorant and Minecraft but occasionally dips into games like Factoria or Cities. Both monitors are 1808p 165hz and with the games he plays he doesn't need anything super powerful but the 6650TX really impressed me with how fast it is at its price point. I found nearly matching monitors, the upper monitor is exclusively for stream monitoring or videos while he's gaming on the lower monitor. He doesn't like RGB lighting so I decided to go with a mostly black build with no interior lighting. All the parts except the CPU (my old 3700X), memory, PSU and storage are new. I plan to sell his old 2600X, motherboard and 1660ti to subsidize a little of this build.$725.45 -
