My daughter wanted a better computer and since she helps me upgrade mine from time to time she wanted to build her own. We told her if she could keep it around 500.00 budget we'd help her, so we scoured forums and youtube videos for less expensive builds. We found Toasty Bros there, and they in turn directed us to microcenter where we found a very nice cpu/motherboard/ram combo. with the combo and new case we came in around $570. She got her wish and I got a great father-daughter moment to cherish the rest of my life. :D$574.95 -

My main goal was 1440p high fps gaming in pretty much any game I play on the PC. As well as building a pc that was upgradable but was still not going to need upgrading anytime soon. I started with a ryzen 5 7500f that was ordered through AliExpress as it’s not available in the states. Then it was just a matter of building outward from there. Gigabyte Aorus B650m elite ax. Corsair vengeance 5200 2x16 ram. ID cooling single tower air cooler. 1tb team group gen 4 SSD. 2 tb Samsung 970 pro gen 3 2 tb ssd. Corsair 750 watt power supply. Asus tuf rx7800xt. I wanted to use minimal RGB, so the parts wouldn’t be extremely saturated with RGB, and so I could play more comfortably at night. I chose these parts with a $1300 budget in mind. There were definitely things I believe I could’ve done to improve the build, such as a PSU without daisy-chained PCIE connectors, but it’s the price you pay for a quality unit, I suppose.$1,213.11 -

I am playing Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Avatar now. Probably more later. I really am glad to have gone all AMD with it. the processor and graphics cards are basically sleeping even while playing on high graphics mode. I sometimes have the performance view of task manager up and I've yet to crack 50% usage. Only thing I may have done differently is a different motherboard. It works fine, but it tried to install a manager that did NOT work. when installed it froze the computer after running. I had to boot into safe mode to get rid of it by deleting manually and removing from the registry. Trying to uninstall froze everything as well. So DON"T install the gigabyte management software.$1,269.94 -

I've wanted to build a gaming PC since last August, and now I've done it. It's much better than I first planned. The primary reason for this PC is for gaming, so deciding which GPU to get is important. It's the first part I brought. I ended up with the RX 7800 XT because it's enough for the type of game I play and it was on sale. Building this PC was surprisingly easy with the help of YouTube video guides. Overall, I am really happy with the result.$1,330.93 -

I switched back from a gaming laptop to a desktop. I previously had a aero 5 xe4. I prefer the upgradeability and future proofing. I mostly game but Ive made a few videos and music and some 3d model editing and want to create more. Our channel is "Co-Op Couple" on YouTube and coopcouple_lxs on tik tok. Games I play are cod, GTA, virtual reality, vrchat, Roblox, Pavlov, valheim, Minecraft, Forza, Bethesda games, dark and darker, ect. My future upgrades could be extra storage and maybe 3 rgb front fans, some keycaps a wrist rest and possibly a small screen for inside the case. I wouldn't have done anything I've done differently I like the build alot. Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

I mainly built this PC to play games and create content based on the games I play and my overall setup. Currently some games I'm playing would be Cyberpunk 2077 and After I finish it, I'm planning on playing starfield. I also do graphics designing on this pc which involves working with photoshop and edit videos for clients. The PC I had before wasn't capable of doing all of these due to its limited capacity. Built this for someone who wanted the latest AM5 and they were upgrading from an old AM3 build which was almost 10 years old and wanted to build something to last just as long. I built this PC for gaming, schoolwork, etc. I had a great experience with AMD the last time I built my PC, so this time I decided to go with them again. For my second ever time building a PC, I really wanted to make a small-form factor computer so that I will be able to easily move the PC around. My first PC was in a giant mid-tower LIAN LI case and when I was moving between countries, it was impossible to keep that PC without tearing it down. As such, I've turned to an ITX case with the Fractal Terra (Jade colour) and though it was personally challenging to build in such a small space (especially the cable management...), I really love it!! RAM, and an RX 580 (which was the newest component). This old workhorse could handle most indie and older/more modest 3D games at 1080p, but modern titles were only playable at 30fps and low settings. With my new (long overdue) build, I may not be playing the most graphically intense games out there, but I've been able to max out the following titles at 1440p and comfortably run them above 60fps (where possible) without the need for upscaling: Baldur's Gate III Helldivers 2 Elden Ring Armored Core VI Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Remnant II Last Epoch I've also been able to multitask while playing the aforementioned titles, i.e. streaming several videos on a second monitor without any noticeable dips in game performance.$1,574.90 -

With this build I wasn't trying to spend an outrageous amount, but wanted something that would last. The $400 deal from Micro Center that included the 7700x, motherboard, and 16Gb ddr5 was unbeatable. From there I acquired the other parts to just get a complete pc, already having a 500W psu and an absolute beast of an RX 580. Added an extra stick of 16GB as well. I just wanted something that works. Albeit, it struggled with elden ring. My work here wasn't done. The initial rig (red rgb fans) lasted a couple of months, where I upgraded the psu and added another 2tb of storage. However, I was getting fed up with that insane gpu bottleneck. So, I impulsively bought the 7800xt and slapped it right in there. Could not be happier. Absolutely crushes elden ring and anything I throw at it. (yes I know this is overkill for 1080p, but eventually I will upgrade to 1440p)$1,589.79 -

When i was designing the build, primarily i was focused on getting the 7800x3d bundle deal since the 7800x3d is universally the king of gaming since it draws lower power and is SUPER efficent. Primarily i use it for gaming for lower end titles like minecraft and raft but i also play more demanding titles like 7 days to die, rust, bf 2042, etc. Currently i have the ak500 in the build but due to the build height, im opting to go for a 360mm rad simply because i was going to get more case fans but i also dont want to cause long term damage to the cpu or the glass.$1,589.92 -
